First session
Our first session is all about getting to know you and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll start with a brief introduction and talk about what brings you to therapy. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — this time is for you to share whatever feels most important right now. I’ll ask some gentle questions about your background, daily life, and the challenges you’ve been facing. Together, we’ll start identifying your goals and what you hope to gain from our work. This conversation helps me create a plan that’s tailored to your needs and pace. You can also ask any questions about the therapy process or what to expect moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful — knowing you’ve taken a positive first step toward healing and growth. Taking that first step can be difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll be here to walk beside you every step of the way.
