Psychotherapy provides a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore life’s challenges, emotions, and transitions. My goal is to create a safe environment where you feel understood and empowered as we work together to identify your strengths, deepen your self-awareness, and develop effective coping skills. Through this process, we’ll focus on personal growth, resilience, and the tools needed to navigate change with confidence. I was born in Brazil and have also lived in Switzerland, Ecuador, and now the United States. These experiences have shaped my worldview and help me bring a multicultural and compassionate perspective to my work. Given my background, I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and value creating meaningful connections with clients from all backgrounds. Outside of my practice, I’m passionate about exploring cultures through travel. I’ve had the opportunity to visit over 35 countries so far. I also enjoy discovering new foods, exercise and spending sunny weekends outdoors in Florida. As a therapist, I’m known for being empathetic, authentic, and attuned to my clients’ needs. I believe everyone possesses inner strengths and resources that, when nurtured, can help overcome challenges and foster meaningful, lasting change.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—especially if you’re worried about being vulnerable or judged. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely safe, supported, and accepted just as you are. At the same time, I gently help guide you toward growth and healing in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. I’ve worked with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, family conflict, trauma, and the many challenges that can come up during adolescence and adulthood. Together, we’ll move at your pace, exploring tools and strategies that truly fit you so you can better understand yourself and feel more confident in handling life’s difficulties. I see this as a collaborative process—you don’t have to figure things out alone. As part of your team, I’ll support you in discovering what works best for you and in creating the changes you want to see in your life.

Healing is possible, and together we can help you move toward a calmer, healthier, and more fulfilling life. I'm Paula Arce, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 15 years of experience helping adolescents and adults overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, narcissistic abuse, codependency, and relationship challenges. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps people process traumatic experiences and reduce emotional distress. My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I work with clients to identify the beliefs, behaviors, and relationship patterns that keep them feeling stuck while building practical skills to manage emotions, strengthen boundaries, and create lasting change. I also provide couples counseling focused on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection. Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over 28 years of counseling experience in clinical, private and educational settings. I practice Client-centered therapy. For those who are unfamiliar with Client-centered therapy it is based on the practice that the CLIENT is best able to decide what to explore and mark as a goal of treatment. I empower all my clients without compromising empathy. Whatever the reason any individual, couple, or family comes to me, I challenge their skillset to solve problems and restore resolve; not simply provide short-term solutions. The first step to achieve this is to build a rapport with essential empathy and unconditional positive regard. I believe in relationships. Seems a little elementary but one's physical, mental, and overall wellness is dependent on relations that we have with each other. No matter how large or small one's family is, and/or social circle we were all meant to establish and grow relationships. No level of true self-reflection would escape this fact. I witnessed this to be true in all of my clients as with myself. I currently reside Central Florida with my wife, son, and three daughters. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle supportive of one another and the family dynamic. I welcome the opportunity to work with you, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and my work centers on helping people recognize the strengths they already carry. Just as a fish is built to swim and a bird to fly, I believe each of us has our own natural way of moving through life, and my role is to help you find and lean into yours. I work with adults and older adults who are ready to feel more grounded, confident, and understood, in a space that is safe, warm, and free of judgment. To help make sure we are the right fit from the start, I want to be upfront that my practice does not currently include couples counseling, medication management, or completing disability, FMLA, or legal paperwork. I work with adults 18 years and older. If any of these are part of what you are looking for, I am happy to help you find a provider whose practice is built around that support.

Nice to meet you, I am Jackson. I’m a therapist whose journey to this work began behind the bar, where I learned the art of truly listening and connecting with people from all walks of life. My clients often tell me that talking with me feels like catching up with a good friend—comfortable and real—while also knowing they’re in the hands of someone clinically grounded and thoughtful. I draw from psychodynamic and relational approaches, always emphasizing the importance of genuine human connection in the healing process. I’m trauma-informed and bring my own lived experiences into the room, helping clients feel seen and understood without judgment. My lifelong commitment to health and wellness—including earning a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, surfing, and practicing yoga—deepens the mind-body awareness I bring to my work and has been pivotal on my own path. Whether we’re unpacking the past or navigating the present, I strive to create a space that is compassionate, authentic, and attuned to your whole self.

Hi. My name is Beth Marsh and I am a licensed mental health counselor living in Florida. I have been practicing since 2000. I have worked in community mental health, large private practices, small private practices, for a professional medicine department with a local university, fancy residential rehab, and as a case manager for a large insurance company. My clients have been diverse and run the gamut in socio-economic status. I enjoy working with most people. My favorite clients are the ones who are ready for a change in their life…no matter how big or small. I enjoy couples counseling with traditional and non traditional couples. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly overthinking, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone. I help individuals who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and relationship stress learn how to feel more in control and confident in their daily lives. Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion. They’re used to carrying everything on their own and don’t always have the tools to slow their thoughts or regulate their emotions. In our work together, we focus on what’s actually keeping you stuck—and more importantly, how to change it. You’ll learn practical skills to manage anxiety, quiet overthinking, set healthy boundaries, and respond differently in situations that usually overwhelm you. My approach is structured, supportive, and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy to help you create real, lasting change—not just temporary relief. If desired, I also offer a Christian, faith-based perspective. If you’re ready for therapy that is both supportive and practical, I’m here to help you build clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of control.

I am an Illinois, Wisconsin, and Florida Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has extensive experience working with individuals, groups, couples, and families. I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University, where the prominent perspective was person-centered therapy. I have worked with several different client populations including couples with marriage difficulties, adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and other life adjustment issues, physically and sexually abused adolescents and adults, adolescents with mental health issues related to school, home, adjustment, or mental illness, and even adolescents and adults on the verge of suicide. In working with these populations, I have gained vast experience in family dynamics and feel it is important to focus on the whole system, especially when a child is involved. I have also been trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and I feel many adults and adolescents could greatly benefit from learning these skills. You may have reached a point where you know it’s time to figure out what comes next, even if you’re not sure how to begin. Maybe the past still shapes how you see yourself, how much you trust your own judgment, or how connected you feel to who you are. I’m Norlan McKenzie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in trauma, working with adults affected by childhood abuse and abusive relationships. In our work, you don’t have to rush, explain everything perfectly, or have it all figured out. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we slow things down and listen to the parts of you carrying self-doubt, fear, or inner criticism, and you decide how much to share and when. My British Caribbean roots shape how I think about family, culture, and identity, and how they influence the ways people learn to get through things. In my practice, this means honoring the unspoken expectations of resilience you carry, like the pressure to keep going, keep quiet, or keep everyone else okay. Together, we can untangle the coping patterns passed down in your family, so you can decide what still serves you and what it’s finally safe to set down. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of South Florida. I’ve worked in mental health since 2012, supporting people across Florida and the Caribbean, and I now offer telehealth sessions. My hope is that you begin to trust yourself again and build a life that feels like your own.

Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in Florida and Minnesota). I specialize in working with women who are navigating life transitions and feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally off-balance. Many of the women I support aren’t in crisis—they’re adjusting to change, juggling multiple responsibilities, or noticing that the coping strategies that used to work no longer feel enough. They often come to therapy looking for clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them feel steadier and more confident in this current season of life. My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or emotionally overwhelming to be effective. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and gain insight into what’s contributing to your stress. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, and finding realistic ways to reduce stress and improve day-to-day balance. I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor therapy to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Our work is often short-term and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping you feel better equipped to handle life’s transitions within a few months rather than engaging in long-term, intensive therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers validation, gentle guidance, and practical support during a time of change, I’d be honored to support you.

I provide evidence‑based therapy grounded in clinical assessment, trauma‑informed care, and culturally responsive practice. My approach is structured, collaborative, and focused on helping clients build insight, stability, and long‑term resilience. I am completing an APA‑accredited doctoral internship in a large integrated healthcare system, where I receive supervised training across trauma recovery, inpatient mental health, and neuropsychological assessment. This includes experience with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), crisis stabilization, diagnostic clarification, and cognitive evaluations for conditions such as TBI, dementia, and complex medical presentations. My clinical work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other evidence‑based approaches. I integrate structured assessment, clear case conceptualization, and practical skills to help clients navigate PTSD, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and life transitions. I am committed to providing care that is compassionate, culturally aware, and grounded in respect for each client’s lived experience. My goal is to create a safe, steady therapeutic space where clients can explore their concerns, strengthen coping abilities, and move toward meaningful personal growth. A military Veteran himself, Dennis brings lived experience, humility, and a steady, supportive presence to his work. He has served Veterans and adults across multiple settings, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and detoxification facilities. His approach is compassionate, structured, and culturally responsive, creating a safe and grounded space for healing and growth. Dennis integrates CBT, DBT skills, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and relapse‑prevention approaches to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change. He is committed to helping clients move toward lives guided by clarity, resilience, and their personal values.

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.

My name is Algelis Gonzalez, though I am commonly known as Al. My motivation to become a therapist stems from my personal journey. Growing up in a Latino culture, I developed a curiosity about people both within my community and beyond. This curiosity has driven me to understand the reasons behind our behaviors, both positive and negative. Throughout my career as a therapist, I continue to learn and grow, drawing from the vast knowledge available in the field. I am deeply committed to helping my clients embrace their true selves, regardless of their personality traits—whether they are humorous, quiet and shy, hesitant to trust, or feeling frustrated with the world. I believe that everyone is welcome in my practice. Recognizing that none of us are perfect and that we are all striving to make sense of life’s complexities, I focus on exploring my clients’ experiences with respect and understanding. My goal is to facilitate their growth in ways they may not have previously thought possible.
