I have over 16 years of clinical management, regulatory compliance, and consulting experience in behavioral healthcare systems-both public and private. When treating patients, I take on an eclectic approach and tailor sessions to each individual and situation. I firmly believe in engaging the patient, family, and/or organization in order to develop a therapeutic relationship that can be life long and rewarding in the recovery process. Helping patients find their path to a better life is my passion in a confidential setting.
During the first session, an evaluation will be conducted to determine identified needs and treatment plan will be discussed. Having an understanding of what to expect is important.
As a provider, it is important to make sure that you help the patient feel comfortable and understood. The feeling of knowing that you are not alone is important in therapy and that you are not being judged.
During the sessions, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy will bring you awareness of the identified areas that need to be addressed while improving and creating healthy alternatives of the identified problem or area.
