Hi I’m Lisa. I am a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in trauma. You may think you do not have trauma, but I have experience with working with all levels of trauma. From unthinkable, terrible things that may have occurred in your life or in somebody’s life that you care about to smaller traumas such as divorce, your parent’s divorce, unhealthy relationship patterns, the loss of a job, of a pet.
Do you feel stuck? I specialize in cognitive behavioral approaches that help us examine unhealthy belief systems, thought processes and behaviors that keep us stuck. I teach my clients cognitive techniques that can be used daily to shift those unhealthy patterns that have kept you stuck, allowing you to make small changes that can ripple into bigger changes, setting you free to live your best life possible.
I have made these changes in my own life and I would be honored to help you do the same.
You are worthy of peace. You are worthy of being heard. You are worthy of healthy, nourishing relationships. You are more than your mistakes or challenges. Sometimes life circumstances and events can cloud the ability to believe this. Deciding to take a chance on therapy is a significant and, often, daunting step. But you are not alone!
The past 7 years of my life as a clinician have been enriched with countless opportunities to help others discover the greatness that is within them. I have served in a variety of capacities, including as an outpatient substance use treatment counselor, a trauma and attachment-focused therapist for adoptive families, and as a behavioral health therapist in a primary care clinic. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or relationship difficulties, I am here to walk alongside you.
We'll take a holistic approach on this journey together, where you will be empathically supported in a truly non-judgmental manner. I am here to create a space where you feel safe and empowered to make positive change for a more fulfilling life. I would be honored to partner with you!
PLEASE NOTE: My current schedule openings are Mondays and Fridays 6:15pm-8:30pm.

Together we work towards creating a life that is more aware and intentional, aligned with what you value.

Hi, I’m Melissa. I’m a mindfulness advocate who believes in meeting people where they are, especially when life feels complex or overwhelming. I’m dedicated to creating a safe and compassionate space where we can collaborate on meaningful goals and deepen your connection with yourself.
I specialize in working with trauma, relationships, and life transitions—including the profound moments of birth and death. I believe we all hold the answers within us, even if life’s struggles make them hard to hear. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy and trust, helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and uncover a deeper sense of self. Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or seeking greater clarity and growth, you deserve support that honors your unique journey.
My goal is to help people not just get through life, but truly thrive. While I do work with individuals who have experienced long-term mental health challenges, most of the people I see are high-functioning but feel stressed, disconnected, or stuck. With a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality and experience as a clinical sexologist, I understand how vital it is to love ourselves and others openly and honestly. By fostering this kind of self-acceptance and connection, we can greatly improve our overall well-being.

Are you struggling with challenges that affect your emotional health and wellbeing? Do past experiences feel like they're limiting your potential? Are you looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings?
I'm a licensed psychotherapist who believes the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful catalyst for change. My goal is to partner with you toward your desired goals in a supportive, collaborative environment — working together to foster positive change and build strategies for self-empowerment.
I'm trained in EMDR therapy, based on the idea that our brains have a natural system for processing experiences so we can retain what serves our growth. When disturbing experiences overwhelm that system — or we lack the context to make sense of what happened — the effects can linger. EMDR uses bilateral (left-right) stimulation to activate the brain's natural processing system, helping you work through difficult experiences and release what no longer serves you.
I believe our past shapes our present and future, in both adaptive and maladaptive ways. I'd be honored to help you on your journey toward inner peace, self-love, and fulfillment.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been licensed since 1996. I work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, attachment related issues, and a wide variety of trauma related situations, particularly with military personnel and first responders. I also have extensive post graduate training in areas related to neuropsychology, adoption, custody, child abuse, and forensics. I am qualified as an expert in these areas in several court jurisdictions in Florida and have worked internationally as well (Japan and Europe) in context with the military and internationals from Japan, Italy, and England. My doctoral research areas were Case Conceptualization and Attachment/Adult Psychopathology and I have served as an adjunct professor in clinical mental health
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I consider our therapeutic relationship as one as "an exchange of ideas". My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic and developmental based counseling. I am well trained in other modalities as well.
I understand that it takes courage to seek help, and it's not easy to face fear. I do not believe that "you are your diagnosis". Rather, I will view you "as a a unique individual facing some challenges". My background and training is unique, and I think you will find that I see things very differently than most clinicians.
I look forward to working with you!

Welcome! I'm Ryan. Are you feeling the waves of life? Some waves are gentle and predictable, while others seem to come out of nowhere and knock us completely off balance. Fears may arise about your future, or past trauma might bubble to the surface of your awareness. Anxiety and depression can be normal responses to changes in your insight, losses and transitions. Relationships can become challenging to navigate when we are experiencing such waves. I will meet you where you're at to help you achieve a feeling of wellness.

Maybe you’ve gotten used to being the person who handles everything, takes care of everyone else, and keeps going even when you feel overwhelmed. On the outside, things may look like they’re going well, but internally you may be dealing with anxiety, overthinking, relationship stress, or feeling emotionally drained. You may also notice patterns that keep showing up, like difficulty setting boundaries, putting your needs last, people pleasing, or feeling responsible for everyone else.
I work with women who want to better understand themselves and make meaningful, lasting changes. Together, we may look at what is happening now while also exploring how earlier experiences and relationships have shaped the way you see yourself, connect with others, and respond to stress. The goal isn’t to blame the past, but to understand what you learned along the way and decide what still fits the life you want today.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional, and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist. I support women navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, difficult past experiences, and patterns they are ready to change. I also specialize in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the emotional changes that can come with these stages of life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. Therapy is a space to be yourself, talk openly, make connections, learn practical tools, and use approaches such as EMDR when appropriate. Together, we can work toward stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, greater confidence, and feeling more connected to yourself and the life you want.
I have over 20 years of experience working with teens and adults (in schools and in the community), supporting people through a variety of issues, including: stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, low motivation, self-esteem concerns, trauma and abuse, and big life transitions. I'll provide a safe space for you to be yourself, and we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Sometimes life can be challenging, but it doesn't always have to be.
"You're not failing, you're healing" from Yvonne's book, Healing Between Sessions: An EMDR Supplemental Workbook.
You may just need someone to talk to, to help you work out your problems and to listen.
You may also be experiencing recent or past trauma that you, "just can't get over", so you suffer in silence, being re-traumatized. Well, you don't have to work through these difficult times alone. Let's Talk.
As a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, I treat individuals living with PTSD/Trauma. As an adoption/foster care therapist, I have experience working with individuals living with attachment issues, related to negative interpersonal experiences. I recently published my book, Promise Yourself: Lessons from a Front Porch Swing, a book inspired by the lessons my grandmother left me in a handwritten note. I took those simple but meaningful lessons and blended them with principles of positive psychology to create a book focused on finding hope, building resilience, and creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
The book is both a tribute to my grandmother and an extension of the work I do with my clients. Many of the ideas I explore in the book are the same principles I incorporate into therapy—helping people recognize their strengths, navigate difficult life transitions, challenge negative patterns of thinking, and move toward greater purpose and well-being.
If you would like to learn more about my background, experience, and approach to therapy, you can visit my website at roger.corbinmsw. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can support you on your journey.
I may have sessions in addition to what is on my schedule. Book a session and then send me a msg if needed.

Welcome! I’ve been working with individuals, couples and families pursuing counseling for more than over 19 years. My experience has centered around assisting adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting and adapting to the changes they are experiencing in life, grief and trauma.
The philosophical foundation of my therapy is based on the understanding that what we think influences how we feel which impacts how we behave. Therefore, to change any behavior or feeling we first need to address our thinking. My goal in the counseling process is to assist you in improving the quality of your life by guiding you in how to manage, resolve, and/or reconcile those issues in your life creating difficulty for you.

Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you heal and move forward. I believe that healing is possible, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you regain hope, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling.
Hi and welcome! I am trained as a psychotherapist and received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. I am an EMDR practitioner and a Florida Board Approved Supervisor for mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists seeking licensure.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida. I received my Masters degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and have been practicing for 8 years. I aid various populations in navigating formative, stressful & traumatic life phases, events and situations. My primary focus is symptom reduction & stabilization, skills building and destigmatizing mental health care for individuals of all walks of life. Throughout my work as a holistic therapist, I've developed an integrative approach to helping you identify the source of your challenges and develop solutions that lend measurable progress.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals who are struggling with depression and anxiety. I understand how isolating and overwhelming it can feel to navigate these challenges, and how much courage it takes to seek support. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also bring extensive experience in grief work, helping clients move through loss and life transitions with care and understanding.
For those who desire it, I’m able to integrate a Christian perspective into our work together. Whether it’s drawing strength from faith, exploring spiritual questions, or grounding our sessions in biblical principles, I honor and support each client’s individual beliefs and values.
Healing is a deeply personal journey, and I believe that with the right support, you can overcome what feels impossible today. Together, we’ll work to ease the weight of anxiety or depression, develop meaningful coping strategies, and help you reconnect with hope, purpose, and inner peace.
My name is Amy Peeler and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 15 years. I enjoy working with patients to reach their goals in therapy. Sometimes in life you feel as if you are wading in the ocean waters and then you get toppled over by a wave. I want to be able to help you get back up and learn to ride that wave.
A holistic whole-person approach to care grounded in mindfulness.
Hello and a warm welcome to you, I'm Karre, she/her.
Life can hold both beauty and awe, as well as moments that feel overwhelming, chaotic, heavy, or even traumatic.
You don’t have to navigate those times alone—I’m here to listen and support you in your healing process on your therapeutic journey.
Over 20 years ago, through my massage therapy practice, I began to witness the healing potential that exists for both my clients and myself. Through the many personal stories shared during bodywork sessions, I was inspired to deepen my path into mental health.
Today, I continue that commitment with a holistic approach to care, supporting healing of the whole person and overall well-being as central to my clinical practice.
I am passionate about this work and about helping you discover, recover, and embrace your strengths and authentic self. I am continually investing in my professional development to ensure I bring thoughtful, effective, and evidence-informed approaches to my practice.
Those closest to me know me as an ardent mom, wife, and nana. I'm a traveler, and an arts-inspired social equality-loving creator.
Hello, I’m A.J., a Licensed Master Level Social Worker from the U.P. of Michigan. Faith, Family, and Fellowship are things that I strive to live for daily. My faith is very important to me. I am involved in Men’s Ministry inside and outside of my church. Haggai 2:9 is a verse that is close to my family's heart: “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the Lord Almighty, in this place I will grant peace, declares the Lord Almighty.” My goal and prayer is that I can help individuals move into a better place than they were when therapy first began. My wife and I have three boys and one grandson. Our family enjoys spending time outside on our 20-acre property “Creation Acres” or getting away camping. My boys and I enjoy spending time in the woods or on the lake.
I graduated from Ferris State University in 2018 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work after attending Lake Superior State University completing Criminal Justice / Public Safety Emphasis Bachelor’s Degree and a Paramedic Technology Associate’s Degree in 2008. I have experience working directly with law enforcement as a dispatcher and working in the public safety field as a fire fighter and as an EMT. I currently work for the Michigan Department of Corrections as a mental health specialist. Prior to this career, I worked for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services as a foster care case manager and a juvenile justice / juvenile delinquency case manager.
I look forward to working with you during your journey.
NOTICE – Due to my current position with the Michigan Department of Corrections, I am unable to accept referrals or work with anyone on parole or probation.
My name is Nicole Nonclerc, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master's Level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Florida with 10+ years' experience in mental health and addiction treatment. I have worked with clients of all ages, from early childhood through elderly adults, and am comfortable treating a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. I have also helped clients who need assistance navigating difficult systems of care such as drug court, DCF agencies, and foster care. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Florida State University, and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I recently completed my PhD in Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University, as well.
My counseling style tends to be solution-focused and interactive. I believe that, although a therapist does bring skills and techniques to the sessions, clients are still the experts of their own lives and solutions should fit within the client’s unique lifestyle, values, and views. My approach combines multiple therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, motivational enhancement, and humanistic approaches in order to create a unique plan of action for each client.
I recognize that making the decision to pursue counseling as a method of making positive changes in your life is daunting, but if you are ready to improve your life, even if you’re not sure where to begin, then I am happy to support and encourage you along this journey!
Please note, due to conflicts of interest, I will not treat anyone who is living in, has a civil or legal case in, or is associated in any way with Hillsborough County, Florida.
