About me

I'm sure you've been scrolling through therapist profiles wondering who's actually the right fit. If you've made it here, welcome. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, recovery, life transitions, blended family challenges, and self-esteem. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not an interrogation. Together, we'll create a space where you can feel understood, challenged when needed, and supported as you move toward meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to make your first session as comfortable as possible. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying the challenges you'd like to work through. There is no pressure to share everything at once—you can move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll begin developing goals that fit your needs and create a treatment plan that feels realistic and meaningful. Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about what's ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I'm genuine, approachable, and easy to talk to. I believe meaningful change happens through a balance of compassion and honest conversations. I'll meet you where you are while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach is informed by evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, helping you develop practical skills you can use long after our sessions end. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, recovery, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and build a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My ideal client is someone who knows life isn't feeling the way they want it to and is ready to explore what comes next. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, recovery, relationship or blended family challenges, self-esteem struggles, or simply feeling stuck. They appreciate a therapist who is warm, authentic, and willing to ask the hard questions when needed. If you're looking for a space where you can be yourself, learn practical tools, and make meaningful progress, we'll likely be a great fit.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Rather than spending every session talking about what's wrong, we'll focus on what's possible. Together, we'll identify your strengths, set realistic goals, and find practical strategies that help you move forward. I believe meaningful change often starts with small, intentional steps.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Life isn't about getting rid of every difficult thought or emotion—it's about learning how to respond to them differently. Together, we'll identify what's most important to you and develop practical skills that help you move toward the life you want, even when challenges show up.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges.
