I love to be that objective 3rd party who can help tweak routines, strategize about sleep issues, come up with loving, trauma-informed ways to help with discipline (that means teaching!) your kids. Most importantly helping you learn to connect well with your kids heart is my number one priority. Helping your kids learn skills for emotional regulation is an important parent goal, and one I have lots of tools to teach about. I’m Michelle (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Central Florida.    Central Florida has been my home for over 15 years. I attended University of Central Florida where I completed both a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work.  During my Masters, I also specialized in Military Social Work and received training in Play Therapy.  Since then, I have gone on to work with families and youth, strengthening relationships, overcoming trauma (particularly sexual trauma), and building their self- worth. I have 6 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker where I have been able to utilize my bilingual skills specifically with adolescents and their families. Along with acquiring skills in expressive therapies, therapy outdoors,  as well as superhero therapy to utilize fandom and creativity to help clients reach their Better Tomorrow. Currently I am an MSTI Florida Certified Sex Therapist. I am a mother, a wife, a survivor, and like you I am flawed.  Each of us is on a journey of self growth and discovery and I would love to be a part of yours.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida (MH23088) and hold credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 1 and 2 (CCTP I/II), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained Professional. I have attended a variety of therapeutic and counseling trainings in treating post-traumatic stress disorders and complex traumas, anxiety and depression, grief, obsessive thinking, attachment disorders, somatic work, inner child healing, shadow work, resiliency, teletherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
