My name is Natasha Mcneal, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor through the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. I have significant experience treating children, adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, among other concerns. I feel passionate about normalizing therapy and helping clients clarity and inner peace. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I would feel honored to help you maximize your potential and find fulfillment through this journey we call life. It takes courage to seek out change and I praise you for allowing yourself to take this first step. Let's connect – I'd love to learn more about you!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During the first session with me, clients should expect to establish rapport, set expectations, and provide some background information on why they are seeking therapy. I will begin with a warm, welcoming introduction to ensure that clients are comfortable. I will explain what a collaborative approach is and create a safe space for the client. We will discuss confidentiality and boundaries as well as goal setting. Aside from discussing background information, we will also clarify the client's expectations.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Like many therapists, I was drawn to this field to help others. What stands out most in my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, safe, and supported. I meet people exactly where they are—with compassion, directness, and a deep respect for their unique story. I work collaboratively to help you uncover patterns, build insight, and move toward meaningful change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Have you ever felt lost, overwhelmed, stressed, and disconnected? You are not alone, nor do you need to do this by yourself. I am trained and happy to support you in reclaiming your life and to live purposefully and with joy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to support patients in identifying unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that negatively impact their quality of life and then work to foster more helpful patterns. This is a practical, goal-oriented approach to therapy focused on helping clients develop the skills they need to cope with life's challenges and improve their overall well-being
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use MBT to teach people how to observe the present moment with a non-judgmental and accepting attitude. It encourages individuals to observe their thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surroundings without getting caught up in them or reacting impulsively. In my experience this framework allows people to access their seat of power and make better decisions for themselves.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I have found Person-centered therapy to be effective for a wide range of mental health concerns and is particularly well-suited for individuals seeking a supportive and empowering therapeutic relationship.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
A collaborative and solution focused approach between client and therapist, focusing on the here-and-now (present). Let the focus be on client strengths, what can be done, and how to implement goal directed tasks to move forward and foster lasting change to improve overall quality of life.

I’ve been seeing my therapist since I was 16, and she has been an incredible source of growth and support. She adapts with you over time, meeting you where you are and guiding you toward your goals with compassion and clarity. Her approach is open, kind, and respectful, creating a space that feels safe and welcoming. She listens without judgment and helps you see things from new perspectives. I always leave sessions feeling understood, grounded, and empowered to keep growing.
