I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Master's Level Certified Addiction Professional, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, TF-CBT Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Basic Trainer, and Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. I have spent nearly 20 years in the fields of child trauma, childhood sexual abuse and reactivity, substance abuse, and mental health. I specialize in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, clients who struggle to achieve and maintain sobriety, families in crisis, individuals with trauma, child welfare cases, and those with significant mental health diagnoses. I utilize a trauma-informed, client-centered, strengths-based approach when working with all clients and I combine evidence-based trauma treatments with Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Play Therapy.

I am experienced in working with addictions, veterans, LGBTQ, couples, and adolescents in diverse populations. I specialize in life changes, relationship issues, women's issues, self esteem issues, and substance abuse. I also specialize in working with individuals and their families struggling with addiction, as this is a family disease. Recently I worked with clients with anxiety, mental health challenges, addictions, depression, trauma, and veterans with addictions and PTSD. I served for 10 years in the United States Marine Corps and specialize in working with active and reserve members, veterans, and their families of the armed forces. I can’t think of anything more rewarding than helping people heal and get better. I graduated from the New School for Social Research and have practiced with all types of client problems. I welcome each new interaction as a chance to help someone discover who they were really meant to be and how to have a life worth living.
