Hi, I’m Gretchen Raring, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW—NJ, FL, AZ & ND; LICSW—MA) with 20+ years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. I work with individuals across all ages and backgrounds, including those dealing with mental health concerns, trauma, veterans’ issues, homelessness, and involvement in the criminal justice system.
I create a safe, supportive space where you can feel truly heard. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences connect—and develop practical strategies to help you manage stress, build clarity, and create meaningful change at your own pace.
Greetings! I’m a Licensed Therapist (LMHC in Florida, LPC in Texas). I also hold an International Registration in Play Therapy since 2000.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in medical centers, community clinics/agencies, and private practice. My background includes both outpatient and inpatient care, working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings.
I have delivered parenting group sessions on multiple occasions and created the Victim Services Program in Greater Austin Area, Texas. I also participated in a joint effort to provide immediate mental health care within pediatric primary care clinics in the Dallas-Forth Worth Area for several years. In 2005, I was closely involved in supporting displaced individuals and families who relocated to Texas due to Hurricane Katrina.
I am bilingual (English-Spanish) and multicultural. With over 28 years of experience, I bring a compassionate, grounded, and practical approach to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, work-related stress, parenting burdens, major life transitions, or struggling with self-esteem or women's issues, I offer a safe and supportive space where healing and clarity can begin.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods—including Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, and Faith-Based approaches. I believe each person holds the seeds of growth and change, and my role is to help you discover your inner strength, wisdom, and direction.
My professional background, ongoing training, and continuous curiosity have given me a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of all aspects of the human being. Together, we’ll focus not only on symptom relief but on building long-term resilience, insight, and tools for meaningful change.

As a trained therapist, I empower my clients by unpacking the cores of their trauma including generational cycles and spiritual issues. I help my clients with tools that they can apply according to the word of God. During this process of assisting my clients, I guide them to receive healing through Christ.
My counseling modalities are Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Play therapy. I work with children and adolescents with emotional neglect, abandonment, PTSD, depression, and oppositional defiant/ behavioral issues. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist nearing 20 years’ experience, I work with a foundation of Solution Focus and Systemic Therapy. I’m often looking for "the funny" in the moment and the world around me. I greatly enjoy sarcasm, snark, and satire. I'm fairly casual but have been told I "Clean up well", and clients have told me in the past they appreciate that I do not come across as "stuffy".
I'm often daydreaming of going on cruises with my wife and occasionally think about bringing our children as well. I treasure a long nap in a hammock, and I love movie. Once upon a time I even submitted a short film to the Cannes Film Festival (wasn't selected) but I did enter. Prior to being a therapist, I found myself listening and caring, as people would end up just talking to me and telling me their life story. I decided I should put that to good use. Additionally, growing up my family was fortunate to be able to adopt and quickly we became a larger family that could not remember when my sister was not part of the family. Through the process, I realized how important family and relationships.
I appreciate and look forward to the chance to help others get through the rough patches, when life hits hard. When the answer is not easily found, we take time to look at all the options and find something, at least one step towards better. We're not looking for perfection, just looking for progress, a little bit here and there.
I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have an extensive background in working with mental health and addictions. I approach therapy from an individualist, holistic, and integrative lens. I strive to provide a safe and confidential environment to assist in the counseling process. I help clients transform into a more authentic, healthy, and balanced version of themselves.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.
I would describe my style as validating, supportive, and down to earth. Clients often share that they feel comfortable being their authentic selves with me, which is one of my highest priorities in the therapy space. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience, creating a balance of humility and wisdom. While I don’t claim to know everything, I work hard to share what I’ve learned while remaining open and collaborative.
I view therapy as a relationship that parallels the important connections in your life. I will meet you where you are, get to know you on your terms, and walk alongside you as you move toward growth. My goal is to provide a safe environment where you feel respected, supported, and challenged to become the best version of yourself.
Hi, I’m Erica, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida, and I’ve always felt deeply connected to understanding people and the stories that shape them. My passion is creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood as you work through life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a place to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and build confidence in your ability to grow and heal.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I focus on helping you explore your life at your own pace, while also supporting you in finding meaning and building resilience. Being a therapist, to me, means walking beside you—not leading, not pushing—just offering steady support as you move toward the life you want.
Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep.
I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people.
I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.
As your therapist, I’ll support you in navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma with compassion and real-world tools. Together, we’ll uncover what helps you feel grounded, empowered, and whole. My approach is individualized and authentic; blending warmth, honesty, and care to help you strengthen your overall well-being while staying true to who you are.
You deserve to feel like your best self-- not someday, but starting now. Therapy is a brave step, and I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.

I help empower individuals to overcome past adverse and traumatic experiences to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Sometimes life just overwhelms you, and this is one of those times. Are you tired, frustrated, even confused about how to proceed? I can assist you in managing to work your way through the issue and into creating a life you love. Birth, death, marriage, divorce, empty nest, career problems are all life cycle events. When one or more of these occur, it seems to throw everything else in your life off- kilter. Avoiding the issue has not helped, and you may not know exactly how to go about addressing it. Dealing with sadness, anxiety, anger, and/or fear is challenging on your own. I will be here for you, listening, caring, maybe challenging some of your thoughts or beliefs, but always in your court. I work with adults, both individually and as couples, and I have experience with the LBGTQ+ community. My name is Carol Lazarus. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 25 years experience in helping clients overcome life cycle issues. With experience in dealing with women\\'s issues, family substance abuse, mood disorders, low self esteem, lack of self-confidence, communication, and rebuilding what has been broken, I would love the opportunity to see if I am the therapist that can assist you. I am a Mom, Grandmother, dog lover, a very good friend, and I may have worked my way through the same issues that are challenging you.

Hi, I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 11 years of experience. I have a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of South Florida and I received my master’s degree from Webster University in counseling. With my work in the hospital I have extensive experience helping people struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, and life challenges become the best version of themselves.
Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.
