I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I moved to Florida from Nashville but have roots in Mississippi and Virginia. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in April of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Administration. I used that degree to enroll at Capella University where I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in March of 2021. My passion for counseling started when I was very young. In my teenage years I participated in groups that worked to prevent teen suicide. This interest eventually worked its way into my adult life as a career in the mental health field.
My first position after graduating with my Masters was assisting individuals whose substance abuse lead to involvement in the criminal justice system. Building on that, I also have experience with Veterans' issues, grief and loss, eating disorders, LGBTQ+, relationships, depression, anxiety, social fears and many other mental health diagnoses.
I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all approach to an individual’s mental health. I use a wide range of techniques to best help my clients to achieve the goals they set forth during their time in treatment by developing strategies and coping skills to achieve optimal mental health.
I has been working in the therapeutic field for well over 20 yrs. with experience in all areas of the field. I have experience working with the court system, having worked directly with the Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Corrections and Department of Children and Families. II have experience conducting groups, which included substance abuse, anger management and depression and anxiety. My areas of work include: residential setting, crisis stabilization units, school setting, in-home setting, inpatient settings.
I works with different age groups from individual therapy to couples counseling, incorporating different modalities to meet the clients unique needs. Her experience includes processing adjustment challenges, life transitions, communication, anxiety, trauma therapy, family issues, emotional regulation, relationship concerns and couples counseling.
It takes time and work to see the change you want to see and therapeutic intervention can help you achieve your goals". I work with my clients from an empathetic and nonjudgmental perspective to help them improve resilience, independence, decision-making, and life competence.

Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.

Hi!!! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I am also certified in emotional intelligence. I've done years of work with young adults, as well as more mature adults, who seek to have greater confidence, self-esteem, or communication skills OR may be navigating various goals that intertwine both personal and professional development. Hi, I’m Victoria B. Freeman, Founder and Lead Therapist of Cosmic Couch Counseling. I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I work with young adults, adults, and families who are tired of holding everything together. Many of the people I see are living with anxiety, depression, grief or loss, low self-worth, emotional burnout, or a quiet sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves somewhere along the way.
If you’re used to being the strong one, the responsible one, the one who keeps going no matter what, therapy here is a place where you don’t have to do that.
With me, you don’t have to perform.
You don’t have to explain everything perfectly.
You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.
You can cry. You can sit in silence. You can struggle to find words. You can just be.
There is no judgment here, only honesty, patience, and room to breathe.

My focus is on helping clients uncover the root causes behind distraction, restlessness, or burnout, whether it’s unrecognized ADHD, stress, or lingering effects of trauma. I integrate evidence‑based methods like EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) with a practical, goal‑oriented approach that meets you where you are. Welcome! Seeking therapy can be intimidating, but you're making the right decision. Having personally navigated the challenges of mental health stigma, I'm acutely attuned to the diverse cultural backgrounds that shape individuals' experiences. This insight fuels my passion for breaking down barriers and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for everyone. I firmly believe that a strong therapeutic alliance is built upon feeling comfortable and understood, and I am dedicated to being that source of support for my clients. I'm committed to guiding you toward a more meaningful life, harnessing the incredible power of resilience and personal growth.
Hello, I'm Allison. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been in private practice since 2018. I previously worked in dual diagnosis treatment centers for addiction/ mental health for seven years. I help individuals, couples and families improve communication, rebuild connection, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Many times clients who contact me have no experience in therapy, but just know that their life is not satisfying or something is off. That's enough by the way! Anything and everything can be discussed in therapy. I have frequently been told I'm easy to open up to, and clients often feel relieved that I am more directive than a therapist who listens without guidance. I enjoy cheering on my clients' wins, but also being there for the hard moments, and genuinely love what I do.
Finding relief and reconnecting with a sense of peace is more achievable than it might feel right now—and once you start, the process of change often unfolds more quickly than you expect.

Throughout the past 20+ years, I have gained incredible experience & insight that have uniquely prepared me for this work. As a licensed clinical social worker I have served diverse populations well, throughout the New York Tri-State area as well as in Florida's Southwest & Central areas since 2013 in various capacities.
From my own curative journey I have borrowed a whole-person approach: mind, body, & soul. There is no "magic pill," or quick fixes when it comes to harnessing sustainable mental wellness. It has been my personal experience that this process can lead to deep restoration from the layers of adversity. Each layer will reveal itself in its own time. This is why therapy will look different for everyone at different stages of life.
I would be honored to support you in exploring what hurts, frustrates, confuses, & a host of other emotions that come up when revisiting difficult childhood experiences, losses, grievances, life transitions, & postpartum. As a trauma-informed & trauma-responsive professional, I will hold a non-judgmental space, where you will be patiently supported and spurred on along your therapeutic journey. You will be provided with a safe place where you can explore your thoughts & emotions to manifest a shift in your perspective developing the clarity, growth, peace, & healing you so desire.
