My family was stationed at Fort Stewart before we settled in Statesboro. Since 2016, I have dedicated my career to working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I achieved my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in 2021. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. I specialize in addressing issues such as depression, ADHD, stress, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, children's mental/behavioral health, military and veteran support, family relationships, grief and bereavement, anxiety, and anger management. I have a certification in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT); Anger management (CAMT) and Parent education (CPE).
When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative approach. I strive to understand each client's unique story and work together to develop personalized strategies that promote healing and growth. I’m a therapist who works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related challenges, addiction, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in painful patterns, struggle with intense emotions or self-criticism, or find themselves repeating relationship dynamics they want to better understand and change.
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely comfortable, understood, and accepted without judgment. At the same time, I think therapy should be practical and meaningful — not just a place to talk, but a space to develop insight, build healthier coping skills, and create lasting change in everyday life.
I draw from approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, compassion-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and mind-body techniques, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals. I especially enjoy helping clients improve emotional regulation, navigate relationship and attachment issues, build self-worth, and develop more balance and resilience during stressful periods of life.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can be honest about what they’re struggling with while also feeling hopeful about growth and change. I value authenticity in the therapy relationship and try to bring a grounded, human approach to the work we do together.

Life can be hard, and I know that not only from my professional experience, but from my own personal journey. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over six years, but my perspective as a therapist has also been shaped by growing up in a multicultural family, with a Mexican mother and British father, experiencing poverty, becoming the first in my family to attend college, and having the opportunity to experience many different cultures and parts of the world. Those experiences have taught me that no matter how much or how little we have, we are all human. There are no perfect parents, perfect relationships, or perfect people—we’re all imperfect people trying to make sense of life, navigate challenges, and become better versions of ourselves.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from Philadelphia University and have been practicing for the past 9 years. I help people of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and any other general life stresses. I am passionate about helping others evolve and grow to live in the best possible version of themselves.
I have been working in the helping professions for over 15 years. Having seen how trauma can affect so many of us, I focused on learning ways to help others get through the trauma and live healthy, fulfilled and value based lives. I am here to help you on your journey to finding your own Inner Sun.
I use a blend of brain and body based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My primary modality is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy), based on the Adaptive Information Processing model. Neuroscience and studies on Neuroplasticity are baring out that the mind can heal itself. Old pathways and negative memories can be updated with new adaptive information. EMDR uses eye movements and other forms of physical tapping and Bi-Lateral stimulation to help the brain process old stuck memories and trauma. Not just for Big Trauma's like car accidents, it can help with many issues from the past, present and perceived future concerns including PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety and more specific issues such as religious abuse, shame, guilt and pain management.
