(Well technically I don’t have a door since its telehealth but you know what I mean)
I talk so casually during sessions that you’ll feel like we’ve met before. I’ll ask you about what’s been going on and how you’re experiencing it. I’ll ask you how your much-needed date night went this past weekend, or how far you made it into that book you wanted to read. I sincerely want to know how you’ve been doing. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard or awkward stuff, and I’m also not afraid to let you know when you’re limiting yourself.
Our therapy is a judgment free zone. You don’t judge my cats who sometimes make an appearance and I won’t judge you.
I will put in the time and show up and if you will do the same great things can happen!
Some of you may be here because you are going through something that is very painful and my idea of ‘fun’ therapy may not seem to fit. I encourage you to give it a chance. We will have the difficult conversations and cry the tears but perhaps my approach will make all of that a little more bearable.

In today's busy world we find ourselves playing multiple roles that require a lot of our time. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help address the thoughts that led to depression and increased persistent anxiety. Social work chose me! When I wrote my personal essay for my MSW, I realized social work had always surrounded me. I remember helping elderly neighbors, teaching friends how to count money, and researching services for my autistic brother. There were so many events between those gaps and yet to come. I always desired to help people. My brother’s diagnosis widened my eyes to my calling, but life had other plans for me and I became a secretary. As a secretary, I found myself being hired in the mental health arena, including the areas of AIDS research, mental health, addiction services, and college counseling. Social work is my second career but it's always been my first passion. I pull from both my personal and professional experiences and allow these experiences to teach and mold me.
I believe you are the expert of your own life. My focus is on creating a space where you feel safe, valued, and free to explore your emotions without judgment. Whether you're navigating trauma, life transitions, or the weight of self-doubt, my commitment is to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and wisdom. This isn’t about fixing you, because you aren’t broken!! It’s about empowering you: to honor your feelings, reclaim your confidence, and move forward in ways that align with your truth. Your goals, your pace, your voice—they guide every step. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to remind you: You are capable. You matter. And you don’t have to do this alone.

Hi, I’m Crystal Rollefson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. Since moving from Hawaii in late 2021, I’ve been working with a small private practice while also beginning to grow my own practice.
I hold a Certificate in Play Therapy from Capella University. My professional journey began in substance abuse counseling, where I spent two years supporting adults with addictions, criminal justice involvement, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, combining client-centered care, cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based. I believe in empowering individuals by helping them recognize and build upon their strengths—even when those strengths feel hard to find. Together, we can uncover them.
I’m also a strong advocate for self-care and self-love as essential components of mental and physical well-being.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can heal, grow, and thrive—at your own pace and on your own terms.
Hi there!
