I am an ordained Minister with a heart to ensure I bring the unadulterated word of God to assist in healing in areas of mind, body, and Spirit. I have experienced working with children suffering from physical and sexual abuse. I am trained in trauma-focused, along with many other evidence-based psychological treatments. Clients should know that I’m down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and a genuine person. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be real—no masks, no pressure, no shame. I bring warmth and care into the room, along with a sense of humor when it’s helpful, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be meaningful.
I’m also solution-focused and collaborative. That means we’ll spend time understanding what’s going on, but we won’t get stuck there. We’ll work together to identify practical tools, coping strategies, and small, realistic steps that can help you feel better in your day-to-day life. Above all, I care deeply about meeting you where you are and supporting you in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and aligned with your goals.
I’m Pam Sykes, a mental health provider with more than 12 years of experience offering online counseling to teens and adults, including individuals and couples. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Hello, I'm Kristen Price, an LCSW with experience helping individuals navigate life's most challenging transitions. My background in medical social work has given me extensive experience supporting people coping with chronic illness, caregiver stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I utilize evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients gain insight, identify practical solutions, and move toward their goals. It is my belief that therapy should be a supportive space where clients feel heard and understood in addition to being challenged to grow.
I would describe myself as a goofy and radically empathetic therapist that struggles with severe ADHD and also anxiety. Not to mention the grief! I am big on being vulnerable myself. We must lead by example. I also am a strong believer in the power of connection. If you cannot connect with your therapist, research says that therapy is not likely to be effective. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship above all else. That is my foundation. That means I pride myself on not being a robot. I cannot believe I have to say this, but many students in therapy have told me that they have had robotic therapist. That is not me. I believe the most powerful therapeutic techniques are empathy and unconditional love, and those are the values I do my best to display consistently.
I currently provide individual counseling to students at Miami Dade College and I have found that I really enjoy working with college students that recently graduated from high school. I find that the world treats them cruelly at such an overwhelming time of their lives and they deserve unconditional love, not tough love.
I am a LCSW. I received my Master's Degree from Florida International University. I have been working for 35+ years. I work with clients who are dealing with trauma, domestic violence, all forms of sexual abuse and sexual assault. In addition, I help people in life transitions, who find their lives are not working in the way they would like them to, and I help clients who are working to improve self-esteem.

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Ricki Shain and I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. Thomas University. I’ve been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for over 30 years in a variety of settings including private practice, residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs, inpatient psychiatric units, and non-profit agencies. I have also worked as a Behavioral Coach helping people with chronic medical issues make the behavioral changes necessary to improve their health. My clients were from a variety of ages and backgrounds; some were struggling with challenges and some were just looking to make a positive change in their lives. The individuals with whom I worked have found me to be empathetic, non-judgmental, and direct. I am task-oriented and take a practical, no-nonsense approach to tackling life's challenges. Clients respond well to my positive attitude, knowledge, and humor, and it would be my honor to share that with you.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards a more fulfilling life. I understand it can be difficult to ask for help and begin to take steps toward change.
