My philosophy as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, challenges, and hopes while moving toward meaningful change. Rooted in a person-centered approach, I believe therapy should honor each individual’s unique values and strengths, empowering them to take steps that align with their goals. Together, we work to build resilience, foster growth, and create pathways toward a life that feels purposeful, balanced, and worth living.
As a licensed clinician, I strive to help clients overcome anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. You will develop coping skills, undo unhealthy patterns, identify triggers, and quickly navigate life transitions. I believe you deserve to feel calm, happy, and in charge of your life. Mental health care is essential to your overall well-being and can help you build the life you want.
Welcome, Bienvenidos! I’m Ciara Bogar, founder of Transcending Grace Therapy, LLC. I’m glad you’re here. I offer a calm, faith-centered space where individuals and families can slow down, breathe, and safely explore life’s challenges while finding healing through God’s grace. My approach thoughtfully integrates biblical truth with evidence-based therapeutic practices, honoring your pace, your story, and the season of life you are navigating.
I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults through emotional struggles, relational challenges, life transitions, trauma, and personal growth. I believe healing is not only about overcoming difficulties, but also about reconnecting with your identity, restoring hope, and rediscovering purpose. Whether you are carrying burdens in silence, navigating uncertainty, or seeking deeper emotional and spiritual wellness, therapy can become a space for renewal and transformation.
Do you find yourself constantly worrying or overthinking every possible outcome? Do you feel like you must prepare for the worst just to feel in control? Maybe you struggle with uncertainty, fear making the wrong decision, or feel like everything has to be done perfectly. Anxiety can leave you feeling restless, exhausted, and stuck in patterns that affect your sleep, your relationships, and your peace of mind. Life transitions often bring us into what can feel like “stormy waters.” As Viktor Frankl wrote, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
I specialize in helping those suffering from anxiety, including health care professionals and veterans. You don't have to continue suffering. As a seasoned therapist, I can help you feel empowered to stop the cycle of worry and anxiety, find your sense of purpose, and reclaim your life.
The good news is that we've all gone through seasons of our lives when we feel this way. The first step is to reach out to someone for help. My approach is straightforward: together we will identify your goals, establish a problem-solving treatment plan, and go from there. If something is telling you it's time to begin your journey; give me a call.
Are you feeling lost; confused or broken? I have 26 years experience working in crisis intervention; depression; anxiety; grief/loss; divorce; gender identity/gay orientation issues; co-parenting; relational problems; domestic violence issues; trauma; sexual abuse; and career/life transition issues. I believe that therapy should be a place where you can feel heard, understood, and completely free to be yourself. I'm a down to earth, compassionate, and non judgmental therapist who genuinely loves what I do. I see each person as an individual and meet your where you are, without judgement or expectations.
I am committed to helping my client's overcome addiction, depression, anxiety, and other life stressors that can affect people at different times in their lives.
I believe in a warm, open, encouraging relationship.
I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I have worked with clients in many different settings and feel that virtual sessions are convenient and effective.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctorate in Social Work and more than 15 years of experience, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, openly exploring concerns, and working toward meaningful growth and healing at their own pace.
My clinical focus includes supporting individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and a variety of life challenges. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating stress, major life transitions, relationship concerns, or feelings of being overwhelmed, and are seeking greater balance, clarity, and fulfillment in their lives. In addition to traditional therapy, I incorporate elements of life coaching to help clients identify goals, build confidence, and develop practical strategies that promote resilience and growth.
I also have extensive experience working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, with a strong emphasis on providing gender-affirming care for transgender and nonbinary teens and youth. Creating an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive space is central to my work, and I am committed to supporting clients as they explore identity, navigate personal and systemic challenges, and build self-acceptance.
I work with individuals across the lifespan and tailor my approach using a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to ensure treatment is individualized and effective. My goal is to partner with each client to identify strengths, address barriers, and support ongoing emotional well-being and personal empowerment.

Hello! My name is Sam Vamosy, and I’m so glad you’re here and considering working together.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, whether it’s your first experience or you’ve been in therapy before. Taking that first step isn’t always easy, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self and exploring what brought you to therapy.
I value a person-centered approach and believe therapy should be tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I incorporate strength-based and solution-focused techniques, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you recognize and challenge thought patterns and behaviors that may no longer serve you.
Together, we’ll identify your goals by exploring what is and isn’t working in your life and develop practical tools and strategies to help you navigate challenges and overcome barriers. We’ll work at your pace, and adjust goals along the way as your needs evolve.
I believe meaningful change happens when we can explore not only the challenges we face today, but also the experiences, relationships, patterns, and emotions that have shaped us. Together, we can identify thoughts that contribute to avoidance, fear, anxiety, or feeling stuck and begin developing healthier ways of responding.
Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, navigating a life transition, facing uncertainty, or working through past experiences, therapy can provide an opportunity for healing and growth. My hope is that you feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered throughout the process.
I received my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) after completing 3,000 hours of clinical experience in an outpatient substance use treatment setting.
I would be honored to work with you as you build the life you want!
My name is Rick Amaral, ACSW, LCSW. Let me begin by fully introducing myself and sharing with you my years of experience as a clinician, manager and director. I have been working with children, teens and adult in many different formats (i.e. individual, family work, group work) for over 30 years in both private practice, as well as with local community mental health agencies.
I am also an Adjunct Professor at the local area colleges for the past 20+ years, teaching both psychology and sociology courses (both graduate and undergraduate level courses). In our sessions, I would like to utilize a strengths-based approach that works alongside you to identify areas that you would like to work on.
Acknowledging that all cars come with rearview mirrors, I would like to spend some time hearing from you about past life events and journey that you think have contributed to your development (both positively and otherwise). My preferred way of assisting you is to focus on a Life Narrative format. Such narratives allow for many chapters, some written, many left to be written.
When warranted, I will provide psycho-educational information on topics of interest (i.e. diagnosis, skill building, coping skills, mindfulness, etc..) and will share with you both local and community supports that you could draw upon after our time together has come to a close.

Hi, I’m Viviana.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, with a special focus on perinatal mental health — including pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility challenges. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your story, heal from past hurts, and feel more grounded and empowered in your life. Together, we’ll work toward understanding yourself more deeply, breaking free from patterns that no longer serve you, and building a future filled with hope and resilience.
Hi, I’m Donique.
I’m really glad you stopped by.
If you’re here, life may have been feeling heavier than usual. Maybe you’ve been carrying more than you let people see. Maybe you’ve been showing up for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself. Or maybe you’re just tired of feeling the way you’ve been feeling and you’re ready for something to change.
Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who’s had the privilege of supporting people through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. One thing I’ve learned is that: therapy helps and healing is possible.
I’ll ask questions that make you think, help you recognize patterns you may not have noticed, and remind you of strengths you may have forgotten you had. My goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life. It’s to help you understand yourself well enough to make decisions that feel right for you.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, I am happy to help you become happier, wiser, and more equipped to handle hard things. I’m here whenever you are ready.
I am a licensed, independent clinical social worker that has more than 20 years in the field of helping others. I have worked with clients of all ages from "the littles" at two years old with Autism to those 90+ and above who are coming to terms with a terminal diagnosis. I specialize in working with women, men, and all included in the LGBTQIA+ population. My clinical work has included hospice work, school social work, in home therapy and outpatient clinical work. I love helping people live their calmest and most productive life possible and I truly believe in a positive growth mindset- we are all operating at our best capacity we are capable of at any given moment!
As a therapist, I am currently accepting patients who are struggling with depression, anxiety or mood or attention problems. I practice from an existential point of view and believe that my clients are the best experts in their life so I look to our relationship as a partnership of work together moving forward while healing past traumas and experiences that might be holding you back. You have amazing potential- you just need to unleash it and realize the strength that you have within! I look forward to being a guest on your journey to inner peace and strength and look forward to empowering you to take back control in your life to be the best YOU possible!
As I am assessing whether we are a good "fit" (as I hope you do as well), there are instances that, professionally, I might not feel that I can adequately be the therapist YOU need in the telehealth realm. The scariest part of therapy is taking that first leap- let me hold your hand so you can be the safest and healthiest possible!
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has worked for the past 8+ years in an outpatient program for mental health and substance use. These years have introduced me to various concerns which include mood dysregulation, anxiety, crisis intervention, family conflict, trauma, substance use and abuse, along with severe mental health symptoms and more. I worked in leadership along with holding a clinical caseload so that I can best support the needs of all that entered the building while also supporting the clinical staff and providing guidance so they can confidently help those in need. We live in a world where people gravitate toward a quick fix, that is obvious with the prevalence of addiction. Working in the substance use field led to me focusing more on holistic approaches. It's important to remind people that there are ways that we can address our own symptoms, feel better and have lasting effects rather than that quick fix. In addition, my graduate school experience was working with children ages 5-18, another passion of mine which I look forward to doing again.

What if your story does not end here?
You might feel stuck—replaying old patterns, carrying everyone else’s burdens, dimming your own light just to keep the peace. Maybe you are the one everyone leans on, but inside you are exhausted—carrying anxiety, grief, or wounds you have never had space to heal.
Many of the women I work with have experienced church hurt that has shaken their faith, childhood trauma that still echoes in their relationships, the pressure to hold everything together, or the quiet loneliness of motherhood and major life transitions. They are strong, capable, faith-filled women who have simply carried more than anyone should carry alone.
In our sessions, we will explore your story, identify patterns keeping you stuck, build healthy boundaries, and use practical tools to help you move toward peace and purpose. I integrate evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies—with faith-honoring principles for clients who desire spiritual integration. Together, we will create a safe space for your emotions and your faith to coexist as we work toward healing.
I do not offer quick fixes or clichés. Instead, we will explore how your past shapes your present, challenge limiting beliefs, and strengthen your emotional and spiritual resilience. I believe boundaries are sacred, healing is possible, and your story still has power.
I have worked in universities, church ministries, and schools, and I have walked alongside women from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. For the past 15 years, I have trained and supervised future counselors as a counselor educator, and I bring both professional expertise and personal faith to this sacred work. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
You might have started to notice feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or somehow not quite like yourself lately. Perhaps part of you is already wondering what it would feel like to have a little more clarity and ease. I earned my psychology doctorate degree from the University of Connecticut and specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, stress, and life transitions with clarity and confidence. In our work together, you will find a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. My approach is collaborative and practical, and at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can begin to develop skills and strategies that fit your unique needs to help you feel more grounded, capable, and in control. I am here to support you in that process.

Hi, my name is Yocheved Pearl Newman, and I’m a licensed therapist with a passion for supporting individuals through healing, growth, and self-discovery. I specialize in working with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and relational challenges. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices such as EMDR and mindfulness to help clients feel more grounded and empowered. I believe in creating a safe space where every client feels seen, heard, and supported.
I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and empowering. Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and easy to talk to. I work with adults who want to better understand their emotions, patterns, and relationships, and I focus on helping clients build skills they can actually use in daily life. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start—just a willingness to show up.
