I am licensed in Connecticut with 10 years of professional experience. I am an Army Veteran and have dedicated my career to helping to support all walks of life on their personal journeys of development and growth. I have experience in helping clients with motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
During our first session together, we will review the intake forms and obtain a general understanding of one another's background, this will help determine the beginning steps in your therapeutic journey and help to ensure we are the right fit to navigate this path together. I will review expectations, requirements, availability and, as time allows, offer initial psychotherapy within the intake session. **If an intake is scheduled and not attended without prior communication, you may be likely removed from my active client list going forward. If appointments are unkept without a 24-48 hour notice, you are at risk of removal from my client list as well. I understand emergencies occur, however as I am one of limited providers currently accepting Husky/Medicaid, please be considerate of my time and other clients who are waiting to be seen. Medicaid/Husky no shows are NOT compensated to providers and there are numerous clients waiting for appointments at any given time slot. No shows are also considered for a cancellation of 24 hrs or less. A no show will also be recorded if client does not show within 15 minutes of start of session. I appreciate your consideration of my time and everyone else! Please utilize the message feature on here to reach out as needed. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! I look forward to helping to support you with your goals.
