When counseling, I look at the whole person not just the current situation. I take time to get to know you and understand your situation and/or concerns. I treat all my clients with the utmost respect and compassion. I use motivational skills to help my patients see their strengths and help them create achievable goals. I believe in breaking the big goal into smaller goals that lead to meeting that larger goal. I believe this creates positive reinforcement for my clients and improves their emotional health, during what could be a difficult time in their life. I look forward to helping you improve your mental health, one step at a time. I have 6 years of experience working with depression, anxiety, bipolar, addictions and co-occurring.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

It is EXTREMLY important for you to get your intake paperwork in 24-48 hours before your session, so that I can have a chance to thoroughly review it before our first session together and ensure that we're a fit to work together before officially beginning therapy together. In our first session I will get to know you and ask a lot of questions regarding both mental health and physical health. I also allow for questions you may have towards the end of our session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have been licensed in Florida for 7 years as a therapist and working on year four in my own practice. I also hold a license as a Master Certified Addiction Specialist. I have worked with those dealing with active addiction to those in recovery, for the past 7 years. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor, which is awarded based on education and expertise. I am also licensed in Virginia, Georgia and Connecticut .

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Client who want to work on personal development and emotional management. I work with a diverse clientele, including teenagers aged 13 and up, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I focus on individuals seeking to improve their self-awareness and change their current life patterns. To assist clients in managing their emotions effectively and understanding their feelings on a deeper level. I believe that by equipping individuals with the right tools and strategies, we can empower them to foster positive changes in their lives.
