It’s tricky being a person. Talk therapy can help. Life can be complicated. Maybe you're going through a big change, feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts, or wondering why you've been stuck in the same patterns. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out on your own. Sometimes the ways we've always coped stop working as well as they once did. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. Talk therapy can help by providing a structured space to: Understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Work through stress, anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges. Develop coping strategies and communication skills. Explore personal goals, values, and identity. Feel heard by someone trained to listen without judgment. It's not only for crises or mental health diagnoses. Some people use therapy much like they would coaching, education, or preventative healthcare: as a way to better understand themselves and handle life's complexities.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our sessions, we will work together to make sense of the noise, identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck, and build practical tools that actually fit your real life. My approach is collaborative, warm, and entirely focused on helping you find your footing again. What to expect in your first session: Your first therapy session is usually more about getting to know each other than diving into deeper therapeutic work. During this session, I'll begin to understand your situation, answer any questions you may have, and help you feel comfortable with the therapy process. Some topics we may discuss include: What brought you to therapy The symptoms, challenges, or concerns you're experiencing Your mental health history Your family background and important relationships Your work, school, or day-to-day life Any previous therapy experiences or medications You don't need to share everything right away. Therapy is a process, and it's perfectly okay to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There will also be time for you to ask questions and discuss what you're hoping to get out of therapy. What you don't need to do: Tell your entire life story in one session Have everything figured out before you begin Know exactly what to say

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Do you feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break? You might look like you have it together—but underneath, you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or caught in the same cycles. I work with young professionals and adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, self-esteem struggles, and substance use or recovery. As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize how past experiences can shape present patterns—especially in relationships, self-worth, and emotional responses. Many of my clients are deep thinkers who want to understand why they do what they do, particularly when it comes to self-sabotage, difficult family dynamics, or repeating unhealthy cycles. Therapy with me goes beyond surface-level coping. Together, we’ll explore underlying patterns in a safe, supportive space and create meaningful, lasting change. I help clients: Navigate anxiety, mood challenges, and emotional overwhelm Improve relationships and break negative cycles Work through family-of-origin issues and past trauma Strengthen self-worth and identity Manage life transitions and early adulthood stress Address substance use and recovery Navigate women’s issues and parenting stress
