Hello, my name is Bernard Scott, and I live in Boston Massachusetts. I attended Boston Public Schools, attended Boston University for my bachelor's degree, Simmons University for my master's degree, and Southern California School of Professional Studies where I received my Doctorate (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology. I became licensed in (psychiatric) Clinical Social Work and received my LICSW License in 1996. I have been in this field for over 35 years and worked in a number of clinics, hospitals in Boston and Brockton. I enjoy helping people find their inner strength and work through those subconscious unresolved issues from the past so that the individual can finally be free from childhood traumas, past relationship issues ect. I strongly believe that between the developmental ages of 1 through 18 can and does affect who you are today and what ever happened to you between that time still has a hold on you today at the ages of 20, 30 50, etc. Getting rid of all that hurt, anger, trauma, etc. so that you can address it, work through it, come to terms with it and ultimately leave it all behind, and unload it.
Hello! Inviting someone into your most personal space can be intimidating, scary, and daunting, but despite that, here you are! This is a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space. We will go at your pace and timing. I look forward to getting to know you and working together. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I value authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness, both for myself, my clients, and as a critical part of the therapeutic process (I also take advantage of the healing power of laughter whenever possible!). I aim to normalize and validate my clients’ experiences without judgment, and above all, provide the most basic of human needs: to feel seen and heard.
My name is Stephanie (or Stevie, either is fine) and I have been providing therapy in NJ exclusively via telehealth for about the last 5 years (prior to that, in person). I have a deep passion and respect for the power of therapy to change lives, which I have been privileged to witness in my work with clients, as well as in my personal life, both through the consistent use of therapy as part of my own self-care, as well as having spent the last 20 years raising two children with special needs. If you have been struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety, particularly if they are related to a traumatic experience, I would love the opportunity to work with you to reduce your symptoms and help you experience a present that is not overshadowed by your past.
I love working with women ages 20 to 30-something who are still in academia or just starting out in their careers, but also love working with women of any age. I frequently work with survivors of child sexual abuse, as well as those struggling with issues related to self-worth, but work with other conditions as well.
Hi there! My name is Alexandra, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. I currently offer individual therapy, focused on helping clients navigate feelings of anxiety, depression or overwhelm, life transitions or other ongoing stressors, as well as working through traumatic experiences. I have a particular focus on helping people cope with the emotional and psychological effects of difficult or traumatic events. I am committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy, in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgemental space. If you are struggling with the effects of stress, depressed mood, anxiety, or trauma, or just want to be able to talk to someone in a supportive and nonjudgmental space - I encourage you to reach out for help, you do not have to face these challenges alone. Life is often full of an incredible mix of significant positives and profound challenges, often these challenges are filled with anxiety, overwhelm, or distress, that can at times, feel impossible to navigate. My goal is to help and support you, while you learn to navigate these challenges and work toward healing, happiness, and growth. Please remember, as you are taking this step to connect with a therapist, while it may not have been the easiest of decisions, the decision to seek help is a sign of profound strength, never one of weakness. You deserve to feel happy and well.

Telehealth Tips
If you're used to seeing your mental health professional in their office, it may take some time to adjust to this new process. Take heart that our patients typically find video conferencing beneficial.
Make a list of the main symptoms you want to address in the conversation. Also be sure to indicate when your symptoms started, what tends to exacerbate them, and what, if anything, seems to soothe them.
Write down questions.
Remember that mental health appointments are a two-way street. This is your chance to ask questions you have about your symptoms, brain scan, diagnosis, and treatment. Having a list of questions ready can help you remember to ask them.
Have your medical and psychiatric history handy.
Your therapist may ask questions about past medical or psychological issues in addition to inquiring about names and dosages of medications you have taken. Having this information available can save precious minutes during your appointment so you can spend more time talking about how you are going to get healthy.
Minimize distractions and choose a quiet, comfortable spot
One of the best strategies to ensure a meaningful appointment is to eliminate distractions. Close your door, turn off the notifications on your phone, and make sure someone is watching the kids so you can focus. Being able to hear clearly is another important element of an effective mental Tele-Health Zoom appointment.
Try to minimize any background noise, such as the TV, the washing machine, or a barking dog. In addition, it's important that you feel comfortable in your setting during your appointment. Find a spot where you are relaxed and at ease.
Troubleshoot technology beforehand.
Find out what technology will be used and make sure you know how to use it prior to your appointment. Are you signed up for Zoom, Skype, or another video conferencing app? Do you know how it works? If you have never used the app before, do a practice call with a friend beforehand so you can work out the kinks.
Set a reminder to keep appointment.
Most of us can benefit from helpful reminders and alerts from our digital calendars. Setting your calendar to send you an alert 5-10 minutes prior to your virtual session can give you the time to gather your lists and questions and to prepare yourself mentally. Reminders can be especially critical if you have a tendency to be forgetful or inattentive.
Unblock your phone.
If you're doing a phone call, make sure your phone isn't set to block unknown callers and answer your phone at the designated time even if it shows that it's from an unknown caller.
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Take notes and/or ask for a recap.
I specialize in integrative psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples, & teens of diverse backgrounds such as , gender preferences and addiction prevention/recovery support. Hi, I’m Dr. D.
I help high-achieving professionals, executives, healthcare workers, first responders, ethnic minorities and indigenous people who are often successful in their careers but feel stuck or dissatisfied in other areas of life. Many clients struggle with burnout, trauma, anxiety, depression, or recurring patterns that interfere with work, relationships, or daily routines. I know what it feels like to face these challenges—and I bring both personal insight and professional expertise to help you get unstuck and reclaim your life.
I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, an MS in Applied Psychology, and an MA in Professional Counseling. My integrative, trauma-informed approach combines Psychodynamic therapy (PD), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This approach helps clients identify unhelpful patterns, leverage existing strengths, and implement actionable strategies for real-world, lasting change.
I take a direct, no-nonsense approach, ideal for clients who are ready to take action immediately. Therapy starts in the very first session—you’ll leave with clarity, insight, and actionable steps toward personal growth, healing, and wholeness.
Hello! My name is Rachael and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has several years of experience in the field of mental health working in agencies, schools, group homes and private practices. Empathy is my strength, and I utilize this, warmth, validation, and honesty in working with clients to help them create the change they've been longing to achieve but maybe thought wasn't possible. Whether you're seeking therapy to process and learn to cope with painful life experiences, depression, anxiety, body image and eating concerns, strained family relationships, a partnership where you both just can't seem to connect or see eye to eye like you used to - I'd love to help! My training has allowed me to view mental health concerns and life's struggles in a way that takes into consideration not only you as an individual, but the relationships within your life and how they both positively and negatively impact you. I'm here to provide support, strategies, a calming presence and an empathetic ear to help facilitate meaningful change in your life and show you that we're all doing the best that we can every day, and that we can learn lessons and find glimmers of hope in our everyday existence. I'm adept at helping my clients reframe difficult thoughts that can overtake the mind and impact your ability to have the happy, healthy life that you deserve. I can help clients recognize that our perceptions are our reality, but maybe at times we can benefit from shifting our perspectives to allow us to see beyond the confines that we, and others, have created for us.

Greetings! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Hypnotherapist practicing in Connecticut. I obtained my Masters Degree from Columbia University. I have approximately 22 years of counseling-related work experience in a variety of settings (hospitals, schools, and community mental health settings). In 2009, I became intrigued with holistic healthcare and began to incorporate different aspects of the mind, body, soul connection into my clinical practice.
I am a licensed psychologist with an interest in helping people live the life they want. I will help you gain self-awareness and understanding to help you be better able to manage and control your emotions, and by extension, your life.
I have provided therapeutic services for over 10 years. I employ a multimodal approach to therapy, but would primarily characterize me as a cognitive behavioral therapist, with specific training in family intervention, behavioral modification, and trauma-informed care. I have also received training in a variety of other treatment modalities and believe in providing high quality evidence-based treatment.
I am a strong believer that our well-being is affected by biological, psychological, and social factors. I utilize a biopsychosocial approach that highlights the interdependent nature of the body, mind, and social factors and how they might be contributing to the development or continuation of our problems.
Whether you are dealing with depression, family issues, or anxiety, I can help support you in living the life you want. Starting therapy can be a difficult and courageous decision, you have taken the first steps just by being here. I look forward to working with you!
Dr. Tracy LaChapelle (Dr. T) is a licensed professional counselor with a doctorate in educational leadership. She specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults. Evidence-based trauma-informed practices are used to treat trauma, depression, anxiety, loneliness, ADHD, Dis-Abilities, self-esteem concerns, social anxiety, autism, social skills deficits, and various life transitions. Dr. T provides Transgender-Gender Affirming Care, serving members of the LGBTQ+ population and their families to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for self-exploration and self-acceptance. Dr. T says, "Engaging in therapy is not about changing a person; it is finding the person, their strengths, and supporting them to be their true selves."
Life often times brings us through situations that become complex based on the unique way we view the world. This complexity of thought emotions and preconceived notions form the manner in which we cope with or deal with life. This is especially true when dealing with addiction, anxiety, trauma, anger, depression, divorce; and those times our lives when things just don't seem right. Together we will create an awareness of you. Through this awareness the areas needing change will surface, it is then that the skills needed to implement the change you have chosen are developed.

I bring something to individual and couples therapy that is rare today and not from a text book, that is lived experience. In drawing from different evidence based schools of thought in combination with my lived experiences we will employ such modalities of therapy such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Adversity and struggle are situations that are common. The goal to avoid both would be ideal but that is not reality. Peace and calmness in the mist of adversity and struggle is a possible reality and what we will strive to help you achieve.

Hi, I’m Leila, and I have been practicing therapy within the home and community for over 15 years. I have a warm, transparent and down to earth communication style. If you're here reading this, you are already taking the first step exploring what type of therapist you want for yourself.
My specialty is working with people who are in spaces where they feel stuck in a pattern that is no longer serving them, including those related to their mental health and/or substance use.
With me, you should expect that together we will focus on building awareness, resources, resiliency and acquiring practical coping skills that will prepare you to do the work on your own when ready.
In all my years of research and clinical experience, I have learned that a strong relationship with your therapist will result in higher rates of successfully getting your goals met. In our first session, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts and questions to determine if working together is a good fit.
Hi, I’m Samantha Czaja, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy for children, teens, and adults ages 5 and up. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University and have been practicing since 2019. I have worked in diverse settings including schools, community clinics, an Extended Day Treatment (EDT) program, outpatient care, and crisis work. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals and families from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. My trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is a collaborative space where your voice guides the journey.
I specialize in helping clients manage ADHD, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, substance use, and family-related challenges. Whether you are navigating difficult family dynamics, processing loss, or seeking support for yourself or your child, I tailor our work to your unique strengths and goals. My approach combines warmth, honesty, and practicality.
I use evidence-based methods including solution-focused therapy, strengths-based work, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. Through skill-building in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness, we work together to develop tools that promote resilience and lasting change.
Having supported families extensively, I understand how relationships impact well-being and strive to create a safe and respectful environment for healing and growth. Reaching out for support is a brave step. I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and encouragement.

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working in Connecticut for the past 5 years. I work with my clients to help identify the cause of issues they may be experiencing, and help guide them through the process of addressing those issues.
The most important aspect of therapy is that it is client-led. Everyone's needs and desires are different, and working out what a person is looking to gain from their therapy is the foundation for change. Once we have established that together, the path ahead can look different for each person. Some benefit from highly structured sessions centered around teaching tangible skills, others benefit from more loosely organized talk therapy. Either way, it is important to establish a treatment plan with goals early on, and work together to reach them.
