I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Art Therapist. I completed my Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Art Therapy and Counseling at Long Island University. I have clinical experience providing both talk and art therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and groups. I have worked in mental health facilities, medical settings, and in schools. In therapy with me, you can expect to be met with authenticity, empathy, a little humor, insight, and creativity. Together you will build on the strengths you already have to improve your relationships and solve the challenges that have brought you to therapy. I am patient, gentle, and empathetic in my approach to therapy. I meet my clients where they are and assists them on their journey of self-discovery.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together there will be an explanation of confidentiality and what you can expect from therapy. I will invite you to share what brought you to therapy and ask you some questions to explore your current situation, concerns, and goals.

I have the ability to create a safe, non-judgemental space through empathy and active listening. I make sure all my clients feel heard and supported.

Individual therapy sessions offer a safe space to explore various aspects of life, build insight, explore personal struggles, and begin a journey toward healing and self-awareness. Individual therapy is a space for a person to receive one-on-one treatment from a licensed mental health practitioner.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

A DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) skilled treatment method uses structured therapeutic interventions . The method is designed to teach practical skills to manage intense emotions, reduce distress, improve interpersonal relationships, and enhance over-all well being.
