Hi there! My name is Koti (KOH-tee). I'm a trans male therapist passionate about supporting queer people to improve quality of life and sense of self. I believe that everyone has value and is worthy of love, kindness and compassion. I provide evidence-based, culturally responsive psychotherapy services that honor the diversity of identities and experiences of individuals I work with. I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to come alongside you, help you recognize the strengths you already have, and support you in creating the changes you want to see. I see therapy as a collaborative process—we’ll work together to understand what’s been feeling difficult, uncover what may be keeping you stuck, and find a path forward that feels realistic, meaningful, and true to who you are. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and goal-oriented. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self and talking openly about what’s going on, without fear of judgment. My hope is that our work together helps you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and make meaningful changes that fit the life you want to live. You don’t have to know exactly what you need before reaching out. Maybe you’re struggling with something specific, or maybe you simply know that something doesn’t feel right and you’re ready for things to be different. Wherever you’re starting from, you don’t have to have it all figured out. We can start there, together. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and clear about where you want to go—and to support you as you create a life that feels more like your own.

Hi, I'm Haley. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of holding everything together, therapy can be a space to slow down, understand your experiences, and reconnect with yourself. I work with adults and teens who are navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, stress, and relationship concerns. You may be processing difficult experiences, feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, or struggling to feel connected to yourself and the people you love. I’m passionate about mental health research and committed to continually learning so that I can offer care that is both thoughtful and informed by the latest evidence. My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities that support the mind, body, and emotions. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic interventions, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so my approach is collaborative, strengths-focused, and tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experiences. And most importantly, I want therapy to move at a pace that feels right for you. If you resonate with this at all, I would be honored to connect with you.

Hi, I’m Shenelle Roebuck, LCSW, and I’m the founder of Kuumba Therapy, LLC. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience in crisis response, clinical assessment, and trauma-informed care. I work primarily with adults and adolescents (12+) navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I believe therapy should help people become more confident in understanding themselves and responding to life's challenges. My goal isn't to provide all the answers, but to help clients leave with the perspective and a different way of navigating challenges. Before entering outpatient practice, I spent many years working in crisis services and involuntary treatment settings. That experience reinforced something I continue to believe deeply: people are often capable of far more change than they realize. Everyone has the capacity to get better and make positive changes. I especially enjoy working with people who are curious, reflective, and invested in their own growth. Many of my clients are professionals, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, first responders, and others balancing demanding lives while striving to live with greater purpose and intention. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I also understand firsthand both the strengths and challenges that can come with ADHD, and I enjoy helping clients build systems that work with their brains rather than against them.

Hello! I'm a bubbly, laid-back person who also believes in the importance of assertive communication. I love meeting new people of different cultural backgrounds. In my practice, I enjoy working with people who are adjusting to a new life, including teenagers, young adults, and older adults. Transitions can be extremely difficult leading to trouble making decisions, worry, depression, and substance abuse. It can be difficult to function well or thrive while adjusting to life right outside of college or adapting to retirement life after a full-time career of many years. Finding your way can be an exciting journey yet also bring about anxiety you may have never experienced before. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Texas and Colorado. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin and obtained my Master of Science in Counseling at The University of North Texas. I have 14 years of experience working in the mental health/substance use field and have been in private practice for 3 years.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado, I strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted as your authentic self. My approach is grounded in honesty, compassion, authenticity, and humor, because I believe meaningful growth can happen when we feel comfortable enough to show up as we are—including the messy, complicated, and imperfect parts of being human. I take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that honors your resilience, recognizes your existing strengths, and respects your unique experiences. I also recognize that our lives are shaped not only by personal experiences but by the systems, social structures, and sociopolitical factors around us. I aim to understand the whole picture rather than view challenges in isolation. Above all, I believe you are the expert in your own experience. My role is not to tell you who to be or what your journey should look like, but to walk alongside you as we explore what matters most to you, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful change. I'm fascinated by human existence. What you say, what you mean, what you've been through, how you've survived it, and how you're still standing. I pay attention to the details, the patterns, the stories you tell yourself, and the things you wish other people understood about you. I know what it feels like to feel unseen, overlooked, stuck, anxious, hopeless. I don't have life figured out, but I’ve spent years learning to sit with uncertainty, have hard conversations, and navigate the messy realities of being human. I won’t promise to heal you or have all the answers, but I will promise that I'm committed to helping you better understand yourself. I'm an out-of-the-box therapist. I’m Laura, a trauma-informed mental health clinician, ordained minister, and blossoming death doula. I work at the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and human transformation, supporting people through trauma, life transitions, grief, and deep identity shifts. My approach is grounded in clinical training and expanded through lived experience, spiritual exploration, and years of walking alongside people in their most vulnerable moments. I graduated with a Master’s in Counseling from Regis University with honors, where I served as President of the Honor Society, and I’ve been in my own personal therapy journey for over two decades. I believe deeply in what I ask clients to do: to stay curious, honest, and willing to grow. I work with people who are often highly sensitive, self-aware, and exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma histories, relationship struggles, or major life transitions that leave them questioning who they are and how to move forward. What brings people to my practice is often not just symptoms, but a deeper longing for clarity, grounding, and reconnection with themselves.

I’m Alexandra Irish, an LMFT and LPC with over a decade of experience working in the mental health field and six years of experience as a therapist. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs, including individuals involved in mental health and drug court programs, high school students, veterans, and clients in private practice. Over the past three years, I have focused on building my private practice with the goal of creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I started my private practice to create greater balance for my family while continuing to pursue my passion for providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves and working toward the life they want.

I help adults, kids and teens heal from the inside out by weaving together EMDR, attachment work, and nervous system regulation. If you’re navigating trauma, relationship hurdles, or a loss of self-worth. My work is grounded in the belief that you don’t need to be “fixed.” You may have learned to cope by staying busy, staying strong, or staying small — but those patterns made sense at one point.

Hi, I’m Demetria Agharese, and I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves find their way forward. My ideal clients are adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling on the inside. You may be the person everyone depends on while privately battling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, self-doubt, burnout, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to constantly “hold it all together.” Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink every decision, question your feelings, replay conversations, worry about what might happen, or feel trapped by thoughts you wish you could turn off. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, divorce, major life transition, low self-esteem, or simply wondering, “How did I lose myself?” You don’t have to continue living that way. I offer a warm, genuine, culturally responsive, and judgment-free space where you can put down the weight you’ve been carrying and talk openly about what’s really happening. I don’t believe therapy should feel like sitting across from someone who simply checks boxes on a diagnosis list. I believe you deserve to feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness, I help clients break unhelpful cycles, face fears, manage difficult emotions, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and become less controlled by anxiety and uncertainty. Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you discover who you are, understand what matters to you, and develop the confidence to live accordingly. If you’re ready to stop simply surviving and start creating a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, confident, and meaningful, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Texas and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado I have made the commitment to help others as they face adversity so as to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with themselves. I bring a wealth of experience and specialized training in addictions and mental health to my practice and there is one common theme I have noticed throughout my career, which is our self-talk. We are our own worst enemies, and this wreaks havoc on our self-esteem.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
