Hello and welcome! I’m glad you are here.
A little bit about myself, I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, and it has been a meaningful journey. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, with a focus on Mental Health. I gained an understanding of the importance of accessible and compassionate care.
As I gained experience, I developed an interest in family systems and decided to further my education by pursing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, and children, providing both individual therapy and group facilitation.
In 2020, I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Through this journey, I have had experiences that allowed me to better understand the broader systems that impact people’s lives and to focus on finding collaborative, strength-based solutions that support real, lasting change.
Choosing a therapist can be challenging and confusing and one might ask, what does therapy involve? From my experience Therapy involves developing a very special relationship between a professionally licensed practitioner called a therapist and one or more people seeking to collaboratively define and achieve constructive change. This relationship is referred to as the therapeutic bond and is considered one of the most important parts of successful therapy. As such our first step in therapy is, from day one, to form that bond by establishing a trusting, non-shaming environment where any adolescent, person, couple, or family will feel safe and sense the therapist listens, cares, responds appropriately and understands.
Therapy on my behalf will involve empathy, genuineness, and mindful acceptance while we collaboratively establish therapeutic changes / goals which you feel are both desired and are ready to work forward and achieve. Our sessions will involve the language of change as perceived by you the client(s), and constructive finding of solutions. You will be able to present your story without fear of rejection dismissal, guilt or shame.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I am very effective with adolescents and young adults, and people working in the stressful world of business, hi tech and active military service members, and veterans. During my time as a therapist, I have built a reputation as a caring, effective therapist who has my client’s best interests at heart. If you feel a connection or that contacting me could be of value, I would be very happy to hear from you. Until such time I wish you the very best in your quest.
Sincerely,
Mike

Thank you for stopping by! A little about myself. I have a virtual office for California clients and a physical office in Salem, Oregon for in-person sessions. My virtual and in-office hours are typically Monday through Thursday, 10am-6pm, as well as during out of office hours for emergencies. I am a mother to three adult children, a Nana to 5 and dog mom to 2 Jack Russel's. I grew up in foster care and was adopted in my teens. That path led me through my own therapeutic journey as I struggled with depression and anxiety. As I found wellness, I launched into social work professionally to support youth and families, and eventually here, as a licensed therapist. I have been working with Individuals and families in various therapeutic settings for over 25 years, supporting those who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment/bonding issues, life stage challenges, and relationship conflicts to name a few. I find myself continually in awe of the resilience of the human spirit. I am honored with the trust my clients offer me as they process thoughts and feelings around their challenges as we journey together to find answers that make sense and solutions that work.
I am a bilingual-Spanish-speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years experience in the mental health field. My specialty is focused on individuals over the age of 21 dealing with anxiety, depression, postpartum, grief and loss, life transitions, and women's issues. My training consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Interpersonal Therapy, Crisis Therapy, Motivational Therapy, etc.; however, when providing services to clients, I prefer to utilize a Solution-Focused approach to help clients achieve their mental health goals. I believe that there is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy and that collaboration and trust with my clients is key to success in therapy. My goal is to help and empower others who are struggling to heal so that they can have a better future and not continue to live in the pain of the past. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching a movie/show, or reading a book.

Hello! I am Dr. Efrain Zepeda. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker. In the past 23 years of working as a mental health professional, one important lesson I have learned is that the most powerful therapeutic intervention is found in the interpersonal experience that occurs in the client-therapist relationship. Together we can analyze the past to co-create a new meaning to achieve healing. I strongly believe that therapy is not about labeling or judging, but rather about personal discovery.

Are you anxious or feel triggered easily. Traumatic experiences in life can lead to a nervous system that just won't calm down. It doesn't have to have been big T trauma to result in easily triggered reactions. Anything happens that your brain thinks is a threat or brings back old pain can cause triggers that set you nervous system off. It can also be the reason for that anxious feeling you have that is difficult to relieve.
The ability to calm your nerves is one of the most valuable skills for good mental health. I use mindfulness practices and breath work to help you retrain your nerves. Nervous system regulation is key to healing from trauma. A very useful tool to actually release trauma is ImTT or Image Transformation Therapy. ImTT uses imagery and the breath to release triggers and heal the nervous system. It does so in a safe and gentle way. Once triggers are released you can make choices based on what's happening now not a threat from the past. Your nervous system can calm down. Anxiety decreases. Mindfulness, somatic practices and other self-care tools are valuable additions to support the work. Together these things can gently and safely heal and reset the nervous system. I would love to share them with you to help you on your healing journey.
If this speaks to you reach out and schedule a time to meet. I would love to work with you.

Hi! My name is Crystal Villanueva and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have 14 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and children experiencing the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, and intimate partner violence.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the spirit of Humanistic therapy. Humanistic Therapy is based on the core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves. In therapy, this belief leads me to focus on each individual’s unique point of view and how this view can impact their choices. It further emphasizes the importance of being our authentic selves to live the most fulfilling life. I strive to create a safe environment to help clients feel comfortable to express their thoughts/emotions. I am genuine, friendly, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I believe I am easy to talk to as I am casual in my style, but direct and focused when it comes to our work together.
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own therapy that I received as a youth and young adult; it was life-changing. I worked with a therapist that was completely accepting and non-judgmental of my faults/shortcomings and helped me work past and accept them. Because of this experience, I wanted to give back and provide the same nonjudgment safe space, and acceptance to others.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. After more than 30 years as an educator, minister, counselor, and consultant; I realized that the one thing I am most passionate about is working one-on-one with others – watching them discover clarity, restoration, hope, and passion. Psychotherapy is the single endeavor where I get to bring all that I am to all that I do.

I've been a social worker/therapist for over a decade and feel lucky and proud to be able to do what I get to do, which is to help and support people. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, but my work has primarily been with the adult population. My treatment has focused on trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and mood management.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles. At this time, I am only accepting adults who are ready to engage in EMDR treatment to address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and interpersonal relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, helping clients process past experiences, shift unhelpful patterns, and feel more grounded and empowered. I am bilingual in Spanish and provide therapy in both English and Spanish.
