Hi, I'm Marina,
Reaching out for therapy can be one of the hardest steps to take, and I know that many people come to their first session feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. With over 18 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I've had the privilege of helping people through anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, grief, and many of life's unexpected twists. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I am warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in their growth. I won't just sit quietly and nod—I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback when it's helpful, and work alongside you to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change.

My goal is to validate your experiences, help you gain clarity, and build practical tools you can use every day. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. My name is Angelique Celestine, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience, working with individuals and families in child welfare and the school system. My focus is helping individuals and families manage stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family conflicts, grief, self-esteem, and a severe diagnosis of a loved one. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, working collaboratively to help you build new coping strategies and achieve lasting positive change.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience, I work with adults and couples who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I have particular experience working with ADHD, men’s issues, relationships, anxiety, eating disorders, and emotional and behavioral concerns.
My approach to therapy is warm, direct, curious, and collaborative. I listen carefully, but I also believe therapy should be an active conversation. I’ll ask questions, offer observations, help make connections, and sometimes challenge you to look at something differently.
My training spans cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, behavioral, neuropsychological, humanistic, and Adlerian perspectives. Rather than asking every client to fit one particular model, I draw from these approaches based on the person sitting across from me. Sometimes that means practical strategies for something happening right now; other times it means understanding why the same pattern has followed you for years. Ideally, therapy gives us room for both.

I use a compassionate, non- judgmental, understanding, strength based approach by acknowledging and welcoming your whole person, body, mind, and spirit. I can help one understand who they are? where they've been? and how they can move forward in their life.
