From working in East LA with 0-5 population to working with adults in the military and kids/teens in San Diego, I have had the privilege of walking alongside so many individuals and families in every facet of life. Obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in the Midwest, studying in a foreign country, and ultimately earning my Master's in California, I embrace adaptability and have gained valuable perspectives gained through varied experiences in various locations. I specialize in utilizing an attachment-based, trauma-informed, and neuroscience lens; and I embrace every individual's story. After working with me, people tend to walk away with enhanced self-understanding, improved attunement to themselves or others, and increased self-compassion. I utilize the most up-to-date methods such as Polyvagal Theory and utilize methods that are not a quick fix, rather are instrumental in providing long-term results with long-term benefits.

Welcome, I am so glad you are here! Taking the first step toward therapy requires immense courage, and I want you to know right from the start that you are in the right place, and you do not have to go through this alone. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California, I bring over 10 years of heartfelt experience across a variety of settings. I earned my Master’s Degree from California State University, Fullerton, and have had the absolute privilege of walking alongside people of all ages and walks of life. Over the last decade, I have helped individuals navigate anxiety and depression, the deep pain of loss and grief, the uncertainty of major life transitions, and the heavy exhaustion of burnout. Whatever challenges you are facing, we will work hand-in-hand to help you find clarity, reclaim your story, and discover your inner strength. I want this to be a safe space where you unpack your story whenever you're ready. I specialize in supporting clients who are managing stress, navigating life transitions, and coping with anxiety. I am currently a marriage and family therapist licensed in the state of California. As a clinician I have 7 years’ experience working in residential care as well as community mental health treating children, adolescents, and adults who suffer from various challenges and diagnosis. I have also now worked remotely for 5 years providing individual therapy to all ages and populations. In treatment, I believe that each and every person has the power and the courage to face their trauma and find fulfillment and joy in their lives. I view trauma as the root cause for the majority of mental health problems and diagnoses. I believe that treating trauma is the foundation for each client to heal and find wellness in their lives. In the therapeutic process I believe the therapist and client should work together collaboratively to establish wellness goals and to develop a plan to reach those goals. I have been trained in multiple trauma therapy modalities including EMDR, TF-CBT, EFT(emotional freedom technique), and mindfulness. I have used each of these techniques in treatment to process traumatic memories and heal trauma associated symptoms. I have also utilized EMDR to manage chronic pain and sensory issues. Outside of trauma therapy I have treated and managed individuals challenged with ADHD, Autism, and Learning disabilities.

Welcome, my name is Kiran and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #28451) with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in and provide mental health support to people dealing with fertility issues, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2002. In 2005, I started working on the maternal-child health floor in a hospital setting where I was able to help patients experiencing grief, loss, postpartum depression, and medical trauma. My passion truly lies in working with individuals going through their journeys and challenges in pregnancy, childbirth, any type of loss, adoptions, or surrogacies. In 2019, I struggled with my own loss of losing my father and felt it was the right time to move on from the medical field in the hospital setting to a smaller medical setting. Working as a preceptor in this new smaller medical setting, I quickly realized that this was not my calling as I began to miss working with the perinatal population. Soon after, I was given an opportunity to provide mental health therapy to the perinatal population and I believe this remains my calling. I am of Asian descent and love learning about everyone's family histories, cultures, foods, etc.

I'm passionate about working with individuals who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, not just manage symptoms but shift the patterns underneath them. I work with adults navigating the emotional challenges that come from ADHD, anxiety, relationship stress, attachment wounds, or trauma. My role is to help you untangle what feels confusing, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward relationships and choices that feel secure and aligned.

I provide a warm and genuine atmosphere and understand that “one size does not fit all." I'll do my best to meet you where you are and really get to know you and your specific concerns. I treat the whole person to maximize growth. Do you feel like your 'fight-or-flight' response is stuck on high? I specialize in helping clients understand the unique wiring of ADHD, depressed, and anxious brains. By exploring the science of why you feel so restless, unmotivated, or overwhelmed, we can separate your worth from your symptoms. My goal is to help you stop fighting your brain and start working with it, using evidence-based techniques that actually click for your unique mind. Therapy shouldn't be another place where you have to perform. In our sessions, fidgeting is encouraged, eye contact is optional, and your unique way of processing the world is celebrated, not 'fixed.' I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for adults with ADHD and anxiety to unmask and find balance. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths to help you navigate a world that wasn't exactly built for minds like yours. If you're tired of feeling like your brain is a browser with 50 tabs open, you’re in the right place. I help individuals with ADHD, PTSD, depression and anxiety and more move from 'overwhelmed' to 'organized' by building practical toolkits for time management and focus. We won't just talk about your challenges, we'll actively troubleshoot the obstacles keeping you stuck so you can feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

I approach our first session with wanting to know what prompted you to book the session. This is because people usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind, or with a problem to solve. I assure you that if you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, that you will be able to feel more peaceful and calm with just one session, and you will leave knowing that you will be able to solve what is going on. We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves thinking that will promote change when that only causes us to procrastinate and feel depression and anxiety. To address this I offer you my book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on self-forgiveness- find it on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble, "The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness." I offer you my podcast- "All Things Therapy," which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 425 episodes related to mental health, fitness, and personal transformation for you to dig into. I intend that the show augments therapy and gives you a resource to look for topics you are facing in the show titles and then listen and apply what is offered and see how that changes things for you.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand yourself and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, attachment-focused work, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help clients develop practical skills while also exploring the deeper experiences and patterns that influence their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. EMDR can be particularly effective for processing trauma, reducing emotional distress, and helping clients move forward from experiences that continue to impact their lives. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to explore difficult experiences, build self-awareness, and strengthen your ability to cope with life's challenges. My goal is not only to help you feel better, but to help you create a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

My style is warm, curious, engaged, and down-to-earth. I’m not the kind of therapist who sits silently and occasionally asks, “How does that make you feel?” I’ll be right there with you—asking questions, noticing patterns, offering perspective, and sometimes bringing humor into the room when it feels right. I work especially well with thoughtful, self-aware people who have done a lot of thinking about themselves but still find themselves caught in patterns they can’t quite think their way out of. You may be successful and capable on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, relationship patterns, or a persistent sense that something is missing. I also work with people who feel disconnected—from their emotions, their relationships, or even themselves. Sometimes that disconnection developed for very good reasons. If you learned early in life to stay in control, rely on yourself, push feelings aside, or keep others at a distance, those strategies may have helped you survive difficult experiences but now leave you feeling stuck or alone. My approach is grounded largely in Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic work. Rather than asking, “What’s wrong with you?” we get curious about what happened, what you learned to do to survive or belong, and what different parts of you may still be trying to protect. Our work is about more than understanding yourself. It’s about experiencing yourself differently—with more compassion, more choice, deeper connection, and less internal noise.
