Hi, I'm Jonathan. I'm so glad you stopped by to consider services with me.
I provide individual, couples, and family therapy with a focus on understanding and helping you individually.
Since 2010 I have provided therapy to address a wide range of issues from difficult recent adjustments to long-term, chronic issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, men's issues, substance use, and ADHD. I like to work collaboratively to find what works best for each person.
My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you really feel understood. I have a goal-oriented approach that offers tools, skills for coping, and clear, achievable objectives.
My approach centers on deep listening, empathy, and honoring each client’s lived experience. I intentionally consider cultural, environmental, and systemic influences, ensuring therapy is respectful, collaborative, and client-led. I believe in creating a comfortable space that supports growth while affirming each person’s identity and self-determination. I am especially enthusiastic about returning to a practice setting focused on working with adults, where I can support clients in exploring identity, healing, and growth.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and finding someone you genuinely connect with can make all the difference. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, relationship challenges, ADHD, and the emotional demands of everyday life. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
My style is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I strive to balance validation with gentle challenges that help you recognize patterns, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support during a difficult season, we'll work together to identify your strengths and create realistic strategies that fit your life.
I especially enjoy working with women, LGBTQ+ individuals, young professionals, and parents who are trying to balance caring for others while remembering to care for themselves. My goal is to help you leave sessions feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with tools you can use outside of therapy.
Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
Therapy can feel uncertain or even overwhelming — and that's completely normal. I use practical, straightforward tools to help you understand how your thoughts affect your feelings and actions. More importantly, I help you see the strengths you already have — because you have them, even if no one has pointed them out lately. I believe every person deserves to be heard without judgment. Whatever brought you here, my goal is to help you find a way forward that works for you.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.

There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).
