I am a therapist with ample life experience, as well as experience serving the client populations of California. I will meet you where you are and have the ability to empathize with you on many levels. I will listen, encourage and support you in a non-judgmental environment. Feel free to express yourself how you like and be open about how you feel. Let's begin this journey and make some progress together.
As an American Family Therapist, I work from a systemic perspective, focusing on the entire family unit rather than just the individual. My goal is to help families uncover and understand deep-rooted patterns and issues that interfere with healthy communication and connection. Through this process, I support each member in developing more effective ways of relating, resolving conflict, and fostering emotional safety with the family system. I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy and view my work through that lens. This means focusing on mindfulness, expanding tolerance for discomfort, increasing effectiveness in relationships and strengthening emotional regulation. When challenges arise in therapy, I often find that the root of the issue can be addressed through one of these core areas. For clients struggling with post-traumatic stress injuries-particularly common in military populations-I also incorporate Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help them reframe and work through trauma-related beliefs. My approach is structured, evidence-based, and tailored to the needs of each individual or family.

Hello, my name is Megan. I appreciate you taking the leap to want to do something different in your life. I know how hard talking about some of these big life issues can be like the death of our person, living through the struggle of infertility and acknowledging the weight of our anxiety is too much. Sometimes, we are stuck in our loop and yet, we do not have the perspective how to shift the big feelings to make you start to feel better.
In the beginning of working together, I want you to feel comfortable sharing your story. Everyone arrives wanting a witness to their grieving at different stages of their process. Your relationship is to different each person had a different relationship to their person. I believe the importance of listening to what is said in the room or what is not said. Many times we are not able to verbalize our pain of trying to live without our person. I think a very necessary part to our healing is to be witnessed by another. My goal is to always create safety in the room. I am a fairly transparent therapist sharing sometimes my personal journey to connect and help clients realize they are not alone in their pain.
I look forward to joining you in your healing journey.

I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.

We are more than conquerors! You already have the capability to make changes that help accomplish your goals, experience healing, and combat the most difficult symptoms. However, we were never meant to go it alone. The therapeutic relationship is a partnership—it is teamwork. It is joining forces with one another. Hello there! My name is Adriana Soriano a bilingual (Spanish-English) LCSW born and raised in Southern California. Contemplating therapy? Let’s take this journey together towards emotional and spiritual wellness, a commitment to positive change. I believe as the client increases self-awareness, they then can begin to see growth and experience self-actualization, the ability to become the best version of one self. This progression forward, can be transformative in mind, body and spirt. It is also my belief that someone’s present reality may be influenced by memories of past experience, including early adversities, in turn affecting a person’s current perceptions of the world and others, as well as expectations for the future and interpersonal interactions.
I believe people generally want to be happy, effective, and successful in their lives. Working from a client-centered approach, I aim to display unconditional empathy and genuine support to strengthen the therapeutic relationship and help you on your journey to a more holistic, congruent view of yourself. Effective OCD treatment means challenging yourself to do those things you fear—not just speak about them. With therapy, change is easy to see, but it takes your hard work and dedication to do the opposite of what has been protecting you from stress, anxiety, and fear. Living in an OCD cycle is distressing and time consuming, but often times comfortable; its repetitive and ritualistic nature provides a false sense of safety and control. Effective OCD treatment requires a willingness to abandoned your tried and true (though unhealthy) methods try something new. Together, we can enact the change you’d like to see in your life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and life transitions. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I’ve worked in a range of mental health settings: supporting clients in recovery, on psychiatric holds, and in longer-term therapy. I’ve facilitated groups and worked with clients from many walks of life, including those facing major life transitions, chronic illness, or longstanding mental health challenges. Over time, I found myself drawn more and more to supporting adults and couples through deeply personal and complex experiences, especially around identity, relationships, and parenthood. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves care that honors their full story. I became a therapist because I believe in people’s capacity to grow and heal, and because I know how powerful it is to feel truly understood.
