I’m a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC). My approach is direct, caring, collaborative, and solution focused. I help adults dealing with anxiety and overthinking, depression, relationship stress, and struggles with focus, planning, procrastination, and follow-through. I also help clients work through boundaries, people-pleasing, self-doubt, guilt, resentment, frustration, and other difficult feelings that can interfere with close relationships, adult friendships, work relationships, and doing well at work. Together, we get clear on what is keeping you stuck, check in on where you are emotionally, and build a focused plan at a pace that feels manageable so progress shows up in real life.
My approach draws on psychoanalytic thinking, which revolves on one central idea: much of what we think and feel remains outside of our awareness.
Sometimes we keep powerful feelings hidden so we can continue moving through the day, or we simply cannot find time to reflect on everything that is happening to us.
In any case, keeping these potent experiences hidden may leave us feeling stiff, dreary, unfulfilled, or even numb and dull. I offer emotional attunement and embodied wisdom.
