About me

***** PLEASE NOTE***** (The 3.3 star rating displayed on my profile is not an accurate reflection of client feedback. I have contacted Grow Therapy regarding this issue and was informed that the displayed rating cannot currently be corrected or removed.) I am a California native who re-located to Dallas, Texas. I am a first generation Salvadoran. I am proud of my indigenous root and culture. I created this space for anyone who can relate or simply wants to feel understood, can find support here. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and I've been a therapist for more than ten years. I love working with BIPOC clients, and I welcome people of every culture, race, age, and sexual orientation. In our work together, I use therapy approaches that help you notice unhelpful thought patterns, build new coping skills, and feel calmer in your body. My goal is to help you find more peace and joy in your everyday life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

When we meet for our first session, my goal is for you to feel safe and cared for right away. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. There's no pressure to share everything at once. I'll listen closely, ask gentle questions, and start building a plan that fits your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I work best with people who are going through a hard time emotionally, or who are having trouble in their relationships or family life. If stress, sadness, worry, or low self-esteem is making it difficult to get through your day, I'd love to support you in feeling some relief.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I especially enjoy supporting Latina and first-generation women navigating family expectations, relationships, boundaries, identity, and the pressure to always be strong. Therapy can be a space to finally put yourself first, understand your patterns, and reconnect with what you need. You may be the person everyone depends on, the "strong one" and you feel ready to work through family expectations, difficult relationships, and the pressure of carrying it all.
