I'm a Certified EMDR therapist and PMH-C clinician providing specialized trauma therapy in Arizona, Colorado, and Washington for first responders and individuals navigating perinatal mental health challenges, PTSD, and chronic stress. Many of my clients appear fine on the outside — capable, put-together, managing it all — while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck underneath. My practice focuses on treating PTSD, birth trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, religious trauma, and occupational stress using EMDR and evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I understand how trauma and nervous system dysregulation can leave you feeling constantly on edge, emotionally reactive, or disconnected from yourself — whether that shows up through the demands of first responder work, the transition into parenthood, or experiences further back. Through EMDR, I help clients reduce triggers, process unresolved trauma, regulate their nervous system, and experience deep, lasting healing — so you can feel stable, confident, and like yourself again.

Hi, I’m Holly! If life feels heavier than it should right now, you don't have to carry it alone. For the last twelve years, I've walked alongside adults, adolescents, and individuals of all genders and identities as they work through some of life's hardest challenges. I believe you already have strengths within you that we can build on together. You deserve a therapist who meets you exactly where you are, without judgment. My goal is to help you navigate the challenges life has handed you by drawing on the unique strengths you already carry. Whether you're navigating substance use, the weight of adolescence, a major life transition, or a season of life that feels stuck, my hope is to create a safe space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and move toward a healthier way forward. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Arizona, Tennessee, and South Dakota. Hi, I’m Gretchen Raring, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW: NJ, FL, AZ & ND; LICSW: MA) with 20+ years of experience in behavioral health. I work with teens through older adults and support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy should feel supportive and purposeful. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I see therapy as a team effort. I want you to feel comfortable being honest while supported and challenged toward change. My approach is structured but flexible. We’ll have a sense of direction while making room for what matters most. I use an eclectic approach based on your needs and goals. I don’t believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all. One of my strengths is being highly attuned and building the trust that allows deeper work. Together, we’ll connect the dots between your experiences, emotions, relationships, thoughts, and behaviors. We’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies for everyday life. My background includes work across mental health, addiction, trauma, homelessness, the criminal justice system, and community-based behavioral health. I’ve worked with people during difficult times in their lives. Those experiences shape how I practice and reinforce my belief that there is always more to someone’s story than what you see on the surface. I believe progress is about the direction of our work, not the speed. Change often happens through small steps. I believe in celebrating every win because those wins build confidence and momentum. Above all, I want therapy to be a place for honest conversations, deeper understanding, practical tools, and meaningful change-at a pace that works for you. At this time, I am accepting individual clients only and am not accepting new couples. I will update my profile when couples availability reopens.

My name is Susan Charney MSW,LCSW with a diversified experiential backround. I work with those individuals ,couples and families that are compliant and realize that everyone can use some help at some point. It takes courage to realize help is needed. My job in the first session, is to be transparent and to establish trust.Thank you for choosing me as your therapist.Therapy is most effective when it is active, collaborative, and focused on meaningful change. In my work, clients are supported in exploring what is and isn’t working in their lives and relationships, while also developing practical strategies they can use day to day. Sessions are engaging and interactive, with thoughtful questions, feedback, and guidance designed to help move things forward in a clear and purposeful way. With more than 25 years of experience, support is offered to individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions and , traumas. Couples and families are helped to recognize unhelpful patterns, improve communication, rebuild trust, and develop healthier ways of resolving conflict. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an important foundation, however, care is tailored to each person and situation rather than relying on a single approach. The focus is not only on understanding the roots of a concern, but also on identifying concrete steps that can lead to improvement in daily life and relationships. Experience also includes work with individuals facing extraordinary stress, trauma, grief, and crisis, including those impacted by events such as September 11, care provided at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and individuals affected by the war in Israel. These experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are, offering nonjudgmental support, and helping them find practical ways forward during some of life’s most challenging moments.

As a therapist dually licensed in counseling and substance use treatment, I believe every person carries unique strengths, stories, and untapped potential. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, IFS, ACT, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and practical life-skills development. I’m passionate about helping clients understand how early experiences and relationships shape the way they see themselves, navigate challenges, and connect with others—and I’m continually inspired by the powerful ways therapy, supported by neuroscience, can help the brain and body heal. Outside the therapy room, I find joy in traveling, lifelong learning, reading, and cherishing time with my friends and family. I’m also deeply connected to the mind–body relationship and believe that true healing honors both. And on any given day, you’ll likely hear me mention my love of animals—especially my beloved corgis—who remind me daily of the importance of presence, curiosity, and play.

My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.

Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and served as a Chaplin, at a hospital. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more. I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations of all ages, young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 are better served in an office setting. I have been with my amazing wife for over 37 years, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family. Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words. I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.

I have studied and used different therapeutic approaches to support persons at different stages of growth. I am not accepting couples at this time.

I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist with more than 15 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, major life transitions, grief, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and the seasons of life when everything simply feels like a lot. My background is a little different from the traditional therapy path. I’ve worked in schools, community mental health, and crisis intervention settings. I’ve supported veterans, first responders, survivors of trauma and abuse, neurodivergent individuals, parents, professionals, and people facing some of life’s hardest moments. These experiences have taught me how to stay grounded when things feel chaotic and why it’s so important to see the whole person - not simply a diagnosis or list of symptoms. My style is conversational, collaborative, and practical. I’ll give you space to process, but I’m not a therapist who simply nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?” We’ll get curious about patterns, relationships, boundaries, past experiences, and the things that keep showing up in your life. We’ll explore where those patterns came from, how they affect you now, and what you may want to change. I believe insight is only part of the work. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies you can use outside of therapy to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, improve communication, strengthen relationships, establish boundaries, and navigate difficult seasons. You don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you begin. Sometimes it starts with simply recognizing that something isn’t working anymore. My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life - it’s to help you understand yourself more clearly, build skills and confidence, and create meaningful change.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
