In our first session together, here's what you can expect

For those who are new to therapy, the first session can understandably bring about feelings of anxiety. This is completely normal, so there's no need to worry. Our primary aim during this initial session is to establish a comfortable atmosphere and begin building a professional relationship, which is fundamental to the success of our therapeutic journey together. Simply come as you are, relax, and embrace the experience. Let's take this first step together and embark on this journey with a sense of ease and openness.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strongly believe in the transformative power of therapeutic relationships with my clients, where healing and growth can flourish. Rather than fixating on labels and diagnoses, my approach is rooted in celebrating and nurturing the unique strengths and qualities that each individual brings to our work together. This warm and welcoming perspective allows us to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, paving the way for positive change and holistic well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I derive immense joy and fulfillment from the meaningful interactions and collaborations I have with individuals who are considered adults, independent of their varying stages of life and experiences. The opportunity to work with and support adults of all ages brings me a deep sense of purpose and satisfaction in my professional endeavors.

We both really appreciated that Iryna is direct but kind in what she has to say. She listened well and gleaned a lot about our situation in a remarkably short amount of time! We already have seen an improvement in our communication with one another and in how we parent and that was after only one session!

She is direct to the point but loving at the same time and is helping me figure out on my own with little hints from her and she gives me examples so that I can understand more clearly

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS creates a connection between the internal (unconscious) and external (conscious) realms by helping individuals in gaining access to their own Self-energy and, from there, gaining a better understanding and healing of their inner parts.

Couples Counseling

Assisting partners in restoring an emotional connection with each other by finding ways to communicate respectfully, compassionately, and constructively.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

By replacing automatic negative thoughts with rational ones, CBT can help individuals improve emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety. CBT identifies, challenges, and replaces faulty thoughts with more objective and realistic ones.

EMDR

EMDR's primary objective is to modify the emotions, thoughts, or behavior that resulted from a distressing experience (trauma). Recognizing the difference in how our brain stores normal and traumatic memories allows me to bridge the gap between what we experience (feel, hear, see) and the information our brain stores in memory through language.
