Hello and welcome.
Entering therapy is not always easy, but an important step towards change.
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process that both my clients and I work on as a team. Trust, empathy, experience, and education are key components to successful treatment that produces long term sustainable results.
I hold a B.S. in psychology with an emphasis in law and criminal behavior, a M.S. in clinical psychology, and a Psy. D. I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in California and in Arizona.
My training and experience in forensic, hospital, inpatient, and private practice settings allows for a wide range of therapeutic experiences that allows for a wide range of treatment interventions with my clients.
I am CBT (cognitive- behavioral) and DBT(dialectical- behavioral), and ACT ( Acceptance and Commitment) trained. I believe in evidence based treatments that will provide long term change.
I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in California and in Arizona.
I have been in practice for over 15 years with my practice focusing on Addiction, ADHD, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and PTSD.
I use CBT, positive psychology, and a person-centered approach to help people understand their thoughts, regulate emotions, and respond more calmly to stress. Sessions focus on building trust, strengthening emotional awareness, and supporting individuals in finding their own voice while feeling respected, heard, and guided – not corrected or pushed.
Over time, you’ll notice you become steadier, more confident, and clearer about what you want and need. Reactions soften, communication improves, and people feel better about their decisions. When you feel on top of things, you have space to grow and find your voice. There really is a better path.

In addition to individual therapy, I also provide pre-surgical bariatric psychological assessments. 🌿 My Approach to Counseling
Forty-four years ago, I was trained as a Holistic Social Worker, and since then I’ve had the privilege of working across the Americas — with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Over the decades, I’ve learned that healing looks different for everyone, and that true change happens when we feel safe, respected, and understood.
My counseling approach is person-centered, meaning that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support and strengthen your natural motivation to change. There are many healing traditions in the world, and I will always honor you and your choices as we find what works best for your journey.
I combine cognitive (thought-based) and somatic (body-based) techniques to help you bridge the mind–body connection. My specialty is working with stress and trauma, helping you understand how your nervous system responds and what it needs to return to balance.
It’s important to remember: trauma lives in the nervous system — not in the event itself.
When your system becomes dysregulated, symptoms arise because the residual energy from those experiences hasn’t been released.
If your system is stuck on “High”, you may feel rage, hyperactivity, anxiety, panic, or find yourself engaging in high-risk behaviors.
If your system is stuck on “Low”, you may experience depression, exhaustion, numbness, disconnection, or hopelessness.
Together, we’ll gently guide your nervous system toward discharge and regulation, helping your body and mind restore calm, clarity, and connection.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, answer your questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit.

I am a therapist who specializes in Addiction Recovery, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. I prefer a Biopsychosocial approach to therapy. I recognize that past trauma, maladaptive thought patterns and environment contribute greatly to how we perceive others and how we "show up" in the world. My job is to challenge thought patterns and support growth while clients empower themselves to make change and develop strategies to improve circumstances.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience working as a clinician, therapist , and crisis interventionist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use problems, psychosis, and ADHD. I also helped people who have experienced trauma and/or emotional abuse.
I would like to clarify my expertise does not include eating disorders, or pornography addiction, although I do understand some of the symptoms and causes. AGAIN, NO PORN ADDICTIONS, COUPLES COUNSELING, OR MARRIAGE COUNSELING.
My therapy style is genuine and solution focused.. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is dialectical behavioral based with strengths perspective and motivational interviewing. Any treatment plan to meet your needs will be collaborative, timely, and with measurable goals. Usually following the "S.M.A.R.T." goal format. Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely.
I have worked extensively in crisis intervention in the agency and on the streets, in hospitals, and in mental health courts and case management agencies, and have managed in this capacity. I also have many years experience related to substance use disorders and have worked as a therapist utilizing primarily Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as my main approach as well as utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy . These tools can be modified in a number of ways to help clients achieve their goals .
Regardless of any experience, upbringing, current, or past situation, everyone has choices they can make that best serves them and the life they want to live.
I look forward to working with you!

Hello, I have been a therapist for my whole life, or so it would seem. I feel as though I have always been a good listener and have been there for friends, family and people that need somebody to listen. I have learned a lot about what people have gone through, from working with adults in jail and/or teens trying to understand themselves. Life is complicated, maybe you just need somebody to listen.
My passion for therapy is rooted in a deep desire to connect with others. Growing up in a family rich in cultural diversity, I have had the privilege of hearing stories from relatives of various backgrounds, which sparked my curiosity and appreciation for different perspectives. This experience has inspired me to continually learn about others—their thoughts, motivations, and unique journeys. I believe my purpose is to support clients as they strive to reach their fullest potential. For me, being a therapist means walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate challenges and embrace growth. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve my community in this meaningful way.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults to overcome problems with mental, emotional, substance abuse, spiritual, and or relationship conflicts. I gained my therapy skills via work in an Inpatient, Residential, and Intensive Outpatient facility focused on helping individuals with severe psychiatric and chemical dependency issues. I am the owner/operator of His Strength Counseling, serving individuals seeking faith-based counseling. I am a certified therapist specializing in Trauma and Personality Disorders. I have experience facilitating and creating groups and counseling individuals and couples. My 5 years serving in the United States Army helped me become more disciplined and culturally competent, with the ability to participate in multi-disciplinary settings.

I’m a licensed professional counselor with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating emotional, relational, and life challenges. I take a mind-body-spirit approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based practices with a holistic focus that honors the connection between emotional well-being, physical awareness, and personal meaning. Hello! I am a Licensed Psychologist based in Arizona. I have been providing therapy for over 10 years to individuals ranging from teens to late adulthood. I have worked with a wide variety of individuals with unique concerns, ranging from lifestyle transitions to dealing with chronic, lifelong mental health issues. I provide a supportive and encouraging environment to help overcome stressful situations.
DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
Hi, my name is Jacob Templeton. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I bring 15 years of experience working in mental health including 9+ years in direct clinical counseling. During that time, I've helped thousands of people from diverse backgrounds including many first responders. I provide telehealth video therapy to adults and older adolescents living in Arizona, Minnesota and Wisconsin. I am passionate about helping people heal trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress and relationship issues. Outside of my private practice, I love spending time with family and friends, playing sports, watching football, running outside, improving my holistic health and volunteering. If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, feel free to reach out to get started.
I am a licensed clinical therapist and life coach with extensive experience helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My work is focused on supporting people who are high-functioning yet feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or uncertain about their next steps. Many of the clients I work with are successful on the outside but internally struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, burnout, or difficulty following through on the changes they know they need to make.
I bring a results-oriented, structured, and insight-driven approach to my work. As a clinician, I am trained to assess emotional patterns, behavioral responses, and underlying drivers that keep people stuck. As a life coach, I help clients move forward with clarity, accountability, and intention. This dual lens allows me to meet clients where they are emotionally while also helping them create practical, forward-moving change in their daily lives.
Clients often seek me out for my ability to quickly identify core issues, provide direct and thoughtful feedback, and help them gain perspective without judgment. I am known for balancing compassion with honesty and for helping clients feel both supported and challenged in ways that lead to real progress. My style is collaborative, grounded, and focused on building sustainable tools rather than temporary relief.
I work with individuals who are ready to be intentional about their growth and committed to showing up for the process. Whether clients are navigating personal transitions, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, or a desire for greater fulfillment and direction, my goal is to help them feel more confident, grounded, and capable of creating the life they want to live.

My name is Dr. Mercy Mwangi a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona State. I have a Doctorate Degree in behavioral health from Grand Canyon University in Arizona and a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University, WV. I have worked as a mental health provider in different capacities in government, private agencies and in private practice for the past 15 years.
I am a licensed therapist with over 23 years of experience helping teens and families navigate social anxiety, ADHD, and autism spectrum challenges. I specialize in working with bright but overwhelmed adolescents who struggle with emotional regulation, executive functioning, and social confidence.
Many of the teens I see are intelligent and capable, yet anxiety, procrastination, or social misunderstandings interfere with school and relationships. What may look like defiance or lack of motivation is often overwhelm. I help teens understand how their brain works so they can stop seeing themselves as broken and start building practical skills.
My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and structured executive functioning strategies. I focus on helping teens manage anxious thoughts, improve follow-through, strengthen emotional control, and build authentic social confidence. Sessions are supportive but goal-oriented. I believe teens benefit from both empathy and clear direction.
Parents are an important part of the process. I provide guidance on reducing power struggles, responding effectively to anxiety-driven avoidance, and creating structure that works for ADHD and autism. My goal is not only symptom reduction, but long-term growth and independence.
I am committed to helping families move from frustration and tension toward clarity, confidence, and steadiness.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity questions. My style blends depth-oriented therapy — exploring the deeper patterns and stories that shape you — with practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I spent nine years on the Boulder Crisis Team, providing psychiatric evaluations in ERs, jails, and walk-in clinics, which taught me how to stay calm and effective in moments of distress. In our work together, we’ll use both insight and skills — helping you understand the roots of your struggle while learning concrete ways to regulate emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and create a more meaningful, resilient life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist in Michigan and Arizona, with over 25 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in Solution-Focused and Person-Centered Therapy. I have worked extensively with adults and older adults, providing cognitive behavioral therapy to address depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and other Mental Health concerns. My goal is not to change you, but to support the changes you want to make.
I am a solution focused professional. I like for us to take care of the current issue at hand and then go backwards into what might be some of the thinking patterns that brought you to the current situation. I believe we all have the answer within, and I am here to help you find it.
I believe we are all made up of mind, body and spirit. The goal is to get these 3 aligned for optimum results. As people, we should be working on one of these at all times, improving and growing who we are as people.
I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. "

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Indiana. Additionally, I am licensed and practice in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Virginia. I received my Master's from the University of Southern California and I enjoy working with people to help them become the best version of themselves. In a time where the world is full of hate, injustice, pain, and unprecedented challenges and changes, we all need someone to help process our lives. Hi there, my name’s Ephraim Tokar. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
I’m not a “just sit there and nod” kind of therapist. I show up as real, engaged, and honest, because therapy should feel like a conversation that actually goes somewhere.
I’ll support you, but I’ll also challenge you when you’re stuck in patterns that aren’t serving you. You don’t have to have the right words or a clear starting point, just showing up is enough. From there, we’ll figure it out together in a way that feels genuine and useful.
