I consider myself a Christian-centered therapist. I believe emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellness are all important and should be considered in the healing process and in developing solutions to life’s challenges. I have over 10 years of experience working as a case manager supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, including both civilians and veterans. I also have experience working with female offenders, assisting them in reentering the community, reconnecting with family, and working toward interpersonal healing. I work with adults ages 18 and older who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and low self-worth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We’ll begin with an introductory session where you can share your hopes for our time together. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can be open and vulnerable, and together we identify goals and work toward growth, healing, and resilience.”

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in a Christian perspective. I believe God is the ultimate source of healing, and I integrate faith with evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I also provide tailored, practical homework assignments to reinforce and extend what is discussed in session, supporting clients in applying insights to their daily lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I best serve individuals ages 18 and older who are struggling with low self-worth, anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, relationship challenges, and family conflict. I work well with individuals who may feel unsure of where to begin in addressing their concerns, but who are willing to engage in the therapeutic process and do the work needed for healing and meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I am new to this treatment approach and have recently begun incorporating it into my practice. My approach begins with understanding each client’s values, beliefs, and personal goals, followed by exploring the life challenges that have brought them to therapy. I work with clients experiencing low self-worth, anxiety, and depression, and strive to provide a supportive, client-centered environment that encourages growth, self-awareness, and healing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a case manager, I work with housed and unhoused veterans facing challenges related to homelessness, substance use, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, trauma, and low self-esteem. I support clients in identifying recurring thought patterns, understanding how those patterns influence emotions and behaviors, and developing practical coping strategies they can apply outside of sessions. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and focused on empowering individuals to build stability, resilience, and meaningful change.

Faith based therapy

In my work with veterans experiencing homelessness, anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, substance use, and anger, I integrate faith-based principles when they align with the client’s values, beliefs, and treatment goals. I combine evidence-based therapeutic techniques with spiritual reflection, prayer, scripture-based encouragement, and values-centered discussions when requested by the client. My approach is empathetic, client-centered, and respectful of each individual’s spiritual journey and personal preferences.
