LCSW, 11 years of experience

Authentic
Open-minded

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker serving clients in California and Nevada. I specialize in trauma-informed care, and related disorders, grief & loss, as well as a variety of other mental health issues you may be experiencing. These include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, suicidal thoughts, etc. I have over a decade of experience with crisis work, and mental health treatment in outpatient clinics, emergency department, and inpatient hospital settings, as well as private practice. I have experience working with military Veterans, first responders, and individuals impacted by community violence. Other areas of specialty include stress related to high-conflict co-parenting and adjustment to various life changes across the lifespan, blended families, and teen issues.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I will get to know you, learn what you are looking to achieve in therapy, and answer any questions you have about my process. I believe in a casual environment to support you in developing a plan moving forward. During every initial session, I go over the intake assessment you completed, and gather more information about your history, current needs, and anything else you believe is important for me to understand about you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strength is meeting you where you are in your process, and at a pace that works for you. I hope to help you achieve your therapy goals by identifying and processing your past and present stress, trauma, barriers to success, stability, etc. We all hope to live the best quality of life we can, and I hope to support your mental health, so you can achieve your goals. Managing daily stress, processing past trauma and adverse childhood experiences, grief and loss, etc., is a way I believe therapy can be a helpful and supportive tool in all our lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Adults, first responders, Veterans, teen (13+) and transitional aged youth (18-21).
