Hello! My name is Laura Lininger, LCSW. I attended Indiana University and got my BA in Psychology and then moved on to Tulane University in NOLA for my Masters in Social Work. I have worked for many years doing child and adolescent therapy and then later added working with adults to the services I provide. I believe my child and adolescent therapy background has been a great foundation for working with adults who are dealing with childhood trauma or family of origin issues. As for treatment approaches, I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. I also include a lot of mindfulness practice in my work with clients. I am proud to provide a safe environment for all races, genders, religions, and clients from the LGBTQ community.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin with several years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
I specialize in helping people navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals coping with grief, past abuse, and other difficult life events.
In my practice, I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These methods help clients build practical skills to manage their emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live. I also integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, and trauma-informed care into my work to support healing and long-term growth.
I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each person brings their own strengths, values, and life experiences into the process. My role is to support you in identifying what matters most to you, understanding the barriers in your way, and developing the tools and confidence to move forward.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready to make a change, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can work toward creating a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentic.
I believe that meaningful progress in therapy starts with a strong therapeutic rapport. By fostering trust and connection, I help clients feel comfortable and confident in the work we do together. I began working as a therapist in 2016. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Wisconsin. I have had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, and am specialized in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic space where my clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to be the best version of themselves.

Hello. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I'm also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Illinois. I have worked in the field of Social Work for 25 years at the Bachelor's level, including case management for at-risk youth, CPS investigations and medical social work. I received my Master's of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville and have been practicing five years. At this time, I provide individual therapy to adults dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma among other issues. We work to recognize triggers/barriers to successful living and then learn to effectively reframe these in order to be a better version of yourself.
I provide counseling services for children, teens, and young adults who are navigating the many challenges that come with growing, changing, and finding their footing in the world. Many of my clients seek support for anxiety, depression, stress, low self-confidence, or major life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
When working with children and adolescents, I often use a play-based and developmentally appropriate approach. Play, creativity, and interactive activities allow younger clients to express themselves in ways that are natural and comfortable - especially when putting feelings into words is difficult.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths based, and rooted in authenticity. I believe meaningful progress happens through trust, connection, and collaboration.

I am a licensed therapist who specializes in working with teens, young adults, and parents who feel worried, stressed, sad, or stuck in life. I also support people who have been through hard or scary events that still affect how they feel day to day. I offer a kind, safe place where you can talk, feel understood, build confidence, learn new ways to cope, and start feeling better.
I have been involved in the industry since 2017, beginning with an internship at a school-based counseling program in Milwaukee. During this period, I developed skills in advocacy and adaptability to meet client needs. In 2023, feeling exhausted from frequent school transitions, I commenced my doctoral studies in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior (currently ongoing) and enrolled in an adult developmental course. I became deeply interested in the subject matter and decided to transition from school-based services to providing telehealth support for adults. While I continue to work with children, my primary focus has shifted toward adult clients. My preferred aspect of this role is the opportunity to serve clients across Wisconsin in the comfort of their homes.
My hobbies are playing and watching softball, watching BananaBall, reading, and crafting.

Welcome! I am glad you are here. Taking that first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, uncomfortable or plain scary. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood and empowered. Together, we will explore the challenges you or you and your family are facing, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you and/or your family. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief/loss, life transitions, or simply seeking personal growth, I look forward to collaborating with you on your journey.
Life today is stressful and complicated. So many people are walking around pretending things are fine, not sharing what's really on their mind because they feel like no one will understand. That's a really tough place to be.
I approach therapy as a caring, thoughtful, solution-focused friend. At the first session people often say, "Oh my gosh, I don't know where to start. I am all over the place!" and my response is, "No worries! Just dump it all out here and I'll pick up the pieces. We'll make sense of it together". I can be very straightforward; I don’t blow smoke! We will figure out where you want to go and start chipping away at making it happen.
I love life even when it is difficult, uncertain, and unpredictable. I experience it as a precious gift and live in constant awe of the quiet miracle of existence. I believe in hope, believe in kindness and compassion, and hold an essentially optimistic view of the human spirit. As a practicing professional, I am continually moved by the beauty and depth of psychotherapy. The psyche remains a mystery that can never be fully captured, and yet it endlessly inspires me. For me, psychotherapy is not only a profession—it is a philosophy, a spiritual path, and a way of living with attention, humility, and devotion to inner truth.

My name is Emma Peters. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. I received my Masters degree in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health) at the University of Arkansas. While in Arkansas I worked with adolescents with maladaptive sexual behaviors and co-ocurring disorders in an inpatient setting. I've spent the last several years focusing on individual therapy. While in this space, I have developed a passion for working with young adults and supporting the unique challenges they face today.
This journey can feel a bit overwhelming at times. I believe in bringing authenticity, compassion, and even a bit of humor into the therapy space to support and empower you through life's most difficult moments.

Hi, I’m Dr. Valerie,
I bring to therapy a lifespan orientation, in which I prioritize the lived experience of each individual—what they’ve felt, survived, and internalized.
My original training was in Developmental/ Child Psychology. After receiving a PhD in Developmental Psychology, at the University of Califronia at Berkeley, I became a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I have 30 years experience working with individuals of all ages.
My training has focused on Evidence-Based, Gold Standard, therapy options. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, anger management, emotion regulation and substance use disorders. I enjoy working with complex needs, in which more than one diagnosis is present. Personality Disorders are a special interest area for me. I love complex problems, and have plenty of tools!
I am a quirky and challenging therapist who graduated from Northwestern University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2014. Having worked extensively in partial hospitalization, therapeutic schools and private practice settings, I combine practical skill based solutions to increase emotional regulation alongside relational work to reshape the past.
I provide individual adolescent and early adulthood trauma and gender affirming therapies in addition to IEP consulting, college preparation and parent coaching.
Hello! Thanks for pausing on my profile. I'm Mary, a therapist working in Private Practice. I contract with GROW Therapy and others, to meet with people virtually, throughout Wisconsin. I've been doing this for quite some time now, maybe 25 or so years. My husband and I have a 3 year old grandson that keeps us running! We get to take care of him two days a week. The rest of the time, I devote to hiking and fishing with my mate & dog, between talking with people like you, maybe looking for an ear and heart to listen and work through situational or emotional difficulties.
Often, I see many who are having trouble with anxiety, stress, ego-strength and unresolved relationship or family issues. Anxiety is so prevalent in our society now, it's epidemic. Relationships are nearly vital for our survival. I say nearly, as many of us suffer here so much, as well.
Conflict in relationships, families, friendships, can sometimes be brutal. We all have known people that let us down; people will abandon us; people sometimes die on us; the ideal is that we all have a trusted therapist, at one time or another, with which we can work things through. When you feel you're ready, I'd like to help.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and substance abuse counselor providing therapy services to adults. I have been practicing therapy for 12 years but have been in the field of social work since 2000. My professional experience includes work in child welfare, treatment foster care, adoption, parenting concerns, substance use, domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA, and life transitions.
Anxiety, trauma, mood changes, academic stress, or life transitions can be overwhelming. You are not alone. I work with students, teenagers, and early career professionals. We will create a supportive space to better understand yourself. This helps us move forward with confidence. I also enjoy working with individuals navigating neurodivergence. Additional support can help clients overcome unique challenges from school, work, and relationships. In therapy, we often begin by slowing things down. This helps us explore how your current experiences connect to larger patterns. Together, we will easily manage difficult thoughts and emotions. My goal is to create a genuine, accepting relationship so that you can truly be yourself.
I use EMDR, existential therapy, and other evidence-based approaches. But these are always tailored to your individual needs. We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable. Even if you are working through trauma, managing stress, or seeking self-insight. No concern is too big or too small, and I'm honored to be part of your journey toward growth and healing.
Hello, I'm Liz!
Thank you for taking time to read about me, and my therapy approach. I earned my Master Degree in Social work with an emphasis in Mental Health in 2018 and am credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Treatment approaches that I find most beneficial are cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and family therapy modalities. My role is to provide a steady, nonjudgmental, and solution‑focused space where you can talk openly, understand what’s happening internally, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change.
I also specialize in supporting athletes and high‑performing individuals who experience mental blocks, performance anxiety, confidence challenges, or the emotional impact of injury, pressure, or burnout. As a former gymnast and current coach, I understand how stress shows up in the body and how quickly the nervous system can shift under intense expectations. I integrate trauma‑informed care with nervous system regulation to help clients rebuild safety, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with a grounded sense of self.
