As a licensed therapist in Wisconsin, I bring over two decades of compassionate clinical experience supporting individuals through complex emotional landscapes. My approach centers on understanding each client's unique journey, with specialized expertise in addressing depression, anxiety, stress, and family dynamics. I am deeply committed to helping clients navigate challenging life transitions, from workplace stress and relationship difficulties to personal growth and self-discovery. My therapeutic practice focuses on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals can explore their emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and cultivate meaningful personal transformation. My work spans a wide range of focus areas, including social anxiety, trauma recovery, mood disorders, attachment challenges, and multicultural concerns. I particularly enjoy supporting young adults, men, women, and families as they work through complex emotional experiences and seek greater self-understanding and resilience.

By integrating evidence-based approaches with empathetic, client-centered care, I aim to empower individuals to reconnect with their inner strengths, build self-compassion, and create more fulfilling lives.
First session
My approach is entirely collaborative. In our first session, we will talk through what brought you here, what feels hardest right now, and what you hope life could look like on the other side. There is no pressure to have it all figured out. I will ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and together we will start building a roadmap tailored to exactly where you are. By the end of our first conversation, you will have a clearer sense of direction and feel genuinely heard.
Strengths
I am an open-minded, empathetic therapist who will also gently challenge you to grow into your best self. In our sessions, I draw on approaches like CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy to help you understand patterns, shift your thinking, and reconnect with your strengths. Mindfulness practices and EFT help us work through emotions at a deeper level, while Solution-Focused techniques keep us oriented toward the future you want. Every tool I use is chosen for you specifically, not pulled from a standard playbook.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone of any age who is navigating life's challenges and looking for support, guidance, and practical tools to improve their overall well-being. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or challenges with emotional regulation. I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, recognize unhelpful patterns, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and develop healthier ways of managing life's ups and downs. Some clients may feel overwhelmed by school, work, family, or relationships, while others may struggle with self-esteem, overthinking, or feeling stuck. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, expressing their concerns, and working toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual's unique needs, strengths, experiences, and goals. My ideal client is anyone willing to explore new perspectives, build on their existing strengths, and take steps toward positive change. Whether working through a difficult season or developing skills for long-term emotional wellness, my goal is to help clients feel heard, empowered, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how these patterns can influence their overall well-being. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, explore how they affect emotions and actions, and develop healthier, more balanced ways of responding to life's challenges. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client's individual needs, age, and goals. I help clients recognize negative self-talk, challenge anxious thoughts, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical coping strategies they can use in everyday life. Depending on the client's needs, we may work on problem-solving, building confidence, managing stress, setting healthy boundaries, or breaking overwhelming challenges into smaller, more manageable steps. I also encourage clients to practice the skills they learn in therapy outside of sessions so they can build confidence and experience lasting change. My goal is to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves, feel more in control of their thoughts and emotions, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and self-awareness.
