About me

I believe that what you have been through, learned, or done does not have to define what comes next. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, attention and focus, self-esteem, or other mental health concerns, therapy can give you space to understand what is happening and find a healthier path forward. My approach combines compassion and kindness with clear, direct guidance. Together, we can look at thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck, recognize habits that are no longer helping you, and explore new ways to handle challenges. I also consider how different parts of your life and well-being connect rather than focusing on one concern in isolation. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create meaningful growth in your life and relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first sessions are about getting to know you and beginning to build a trusting relationship. I’ll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, your history, your goals, your strengths, and anything else you believe is important to your story. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We will move at your pace in a welcoming, judgment-free space. Together, we’ll begin identifying the challenges you would like to address and what you hope will be different as a result of therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

believe everyone has a story, and our experiences do not have to define or limit who we can become. I bring that belief into each session along with compassion, curiosity, and a willingness to be direct when it can help you move forward. One of my strengths is being fully present and paying close attention to what each client needs. This is especially important in my work with children, where communication does not always happen through words alone. I listen carefully and pay attention to nonverbal cues while creating space for clients to share when they feel comfortable. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported while we work toward meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have experience working with children and adults, as well as individuals and couples, who come to therapy with a variety of needs and concerns. I understand that the challenges that bring someone to therapy can be complicated, and there is rarely one simple solution. You also do not have to feel completely ready for change before beginning. If you are willing to take the first step, I will meet you where you are. Together, we can better understand what is keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward changes that feel realistic and meaningful for your life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT in my practice for the past 6 years as my main treatment modality to help with unhelpful thinking processes. This treatment method helps client examine and understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors work together. The knowledge gained can help those who are stuck or with unhealthy patterns.

Brainspotting

I am trained in Brainspotting and have used this modality for the past three years. This treatment method can be used for a wide range of issues and concerns.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is a therapy style that combines useful information with emotional support to help people better understand their condition, ease distress, and boost long-term outcomes. It gives individuals and families the tools to face mental health challenges with more clarity and confidence.
