New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist who specializes in working with teens, young adults, and parents who feel worried, stressed, sad, or stuck in life. I also support people who have been through hard or scary events that still affect how they feel day to day. I offer a kind, safe place where you can talk, feel understood, build confidence, learn new ways to cope, and start feeling better.
Your first session is a welcoming space for us to begin getting to know one another. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and heard as we start this process together. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, your strengths, and what has helped you cope in the past. We'll also explore the goals you'd like to work toward and what you hope to gain from therapy. There is no pressure to share everything at once. You are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll begin identifying meaningful next steps that support your growth, healing, and overall well-being.
I believe my personal experiences navigating parenting and life’s most challenging moments, combined with my professional education and clinical experience, allow me to connect with clients in an authentic and meaningful way. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, and I strive to create a space where individuals and families feel heard, understood, and supported. As a mother with experience parenting an adolescent, teen, and young adult, I bring a unique perspective and the ability to empathize with the challenges that come with different stages of life. I am able to hold space for adolescents, young adults, adults, and parents as they navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and emotional challenges. I bring patience, compassion, personal insight, and specialized clinical training to my work. My goal is to partner with clients in building self-awareness, developing effective coping strategies, and creating meaningful change while honoring each person’s unique story and strengths.
My ideal client is an adolescent, young adult, or parent who is seeking support during challenging seasons of life and wants to better understand themselves and their experiences. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, emotional regulation, school challenges, or relationship difficulties. I work well with clients who are open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing practical tools to create meaningful change. For teens and young adults, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where they can feel understood, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and learn to navigate challenges with greater resilience. I also enjoy working with parents who are seeking support in understanding their child’s needs, improving communication, and learning strategies to strengthen their relationship. Whether a client is experiencing emotional challenges, a difficult transition, or simply wants to better understand themselves, my goal is to help them feel supported, empowered, and equipped with tools to create positive change.
