If you are feeling stuck in patterns that no longer work for you or feel weighed down by painful life experiences, therapy can offer a safe place to begin moving forward. With 13 years of therapy experience, I help adults work through trauma, difficult relationships, and times of change, I use approaches including EMDR, brainspotting, and cognitive behavioral therapy to support clients as they process difficult experiences, better understand themselves, and work toward meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and supportive, which means we will work together at a pace that feels right for you. I tailor our work to your individual needs, strengths, and goals.

First session

Our first session will be a comfortable, judgment-free space where we can begin getting to know each other. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been difficult lately, and what you would like to be different in your life. We will also begin exploring what you hope to work toward. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can work together to identify what feels most important to you.

Strengths

I bring a warm strength-based approach to therapy. I listen without judgment while also respectfully challenging you when it can help you grow..

Ideal clients

I am best positioned to support adults who are struggling with trauma, PTSD, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, or patterns that no longer serve them. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. You may also be looking for a safe and supportive place where you can talk openly and feel heard and understood. I enjoy helping clients explore their experiences, recognize their strengths, develop new ways of responding to challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Treatment methods

EMDR

Using bilateral stimulation (eye movement, back and forth vibration, tapping or sound), I help clients process traumatic experiences with the goal of decreasing distress and improving positive beliefs about themselves.

Brainspotting

By focusing on specific points in the visual field, I help clients process emotions and body sensations in a safe and supportive way.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients identify unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviors and develop healthier ways.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I help clients learn to slow down and become more aware of physical reactions to stress and difficult emotions. I teach techniques to respond to challenges with greater awareness.
