Hello! I’m Jordan, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Wisconsin. Throughout my life I have found hope and healing alongside my equine partners and in nature. My personal and professional journey has been beautifully intertwined with my horses and filled with intention to live in authenticity. As I embraced my healing path toward authenticity, I discovered that my true purpose lies in helping others. Through training in Gestalt, equine-assisted, experiential, and connective therapies, I have cultivated my passion for supporting individuals. I graduated from Walden University in 2023 with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have continued my training and work in the mental health field to continue expanding my knowledge and experience. My counseling approach adapts to meet the unique needs of each client. However, my authentic style often embodies acceptance, warmth, humor, and directness. I view each client as a whole person, possessing the knowledge and strength to heal and grow as they desire. I am here to walk alongside you, provide guidance when needed, and assist in uncovering your truest self. I have a deep passion for my work with adult and senior populations. I feel immense gratitude towards clients who allow me into their lives, cultivate trust in our therapeutic relationship, and embrace the journey toward growth, healing, and empowerment.

First session

Our first session will probably be our most structured session, simply because I’ll have lots of questions and curiosity about who you are, what brings you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get from our time together. But structured doesn’t mean stiff or formal! My goal is for you to feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe from the very beginning. You’ll have space to share what feels important to you, ask questions, and get a sense of who I am and how I work. Just as I’m learning about you, this is also your opportunity to get a feel for me and decide whether I’m someone you can see yourself working with. There’s no pressure to tell me everything right away, and we don’t have to dive into the deepest parts of your story on day one. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. Think of our first session as getting to know each other, understanding where you are now, and beginning to figure out where you’d like to go from here. Nothing too intense to start with!

Strengths

Authenticity is one of the greatest strengths I bring to the therapy room. I want our time together to feel like a genuine conversation and connection, grounded in safety, trust, and acceptance. You don't have to impress me, have everything figured out, or show up as anything other than who you are. I strive to show up authentically as your counselor, creating space for you to feel comfortable doing the same. I don't believe it's my job to find all the answers for you or tell you who you should be. Instead, I believe you have your own inner strengths, wisdom, and capacity for growth and healing, even if those things feel difficult to access right now. My role is to walk alongside you, help you explore what's getting in the way, and navigate the journey with you, one step at a time. I'm willing to sit with you in the difficult moments, walk alongside you through the trenches of trauma and pain, and hold space for the parts of your story that may feel hardest to share. Just as importantly, I will celebrate the little victories, the small steps forward, and the moments when you begin to see progress in yourself. You don't have to navigate the hard things alone, and you don't have to make huge leaps for your growth to matter.

Ideal clients

I work best with clients who are ready to explore, grow, and make meaningful changes in their lives. You don't have to know exactly what needs to change or have all the answers—that's part of the journey. Sometimes, simply recognizing that you don't want to keep feeling the way you do is the first step. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and experiential, so our work may look different from traditional talk therapy. I don't believe you need to follow a rigid formula for therapy to be effective. Instead, I invite you to trust the process as we explore what feels meaningful and supportive for you. I'll help you feel empowered throughout that process while encouraging you to discover your own strengths, insight, and capacity for change. If you're open to exploring yourself in a genuine and sometimes unconventional way, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Treatment methods

Integrative

I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience, and treatment shouldn't be either. My integrative approach allows me to draw from experiential, Gestalt, and person-centered therapies to create a therapeutic experience that honors each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals. Rather than following a rigid approach, I value the flexibility to explore different perspectives and techniques, working collaboratively with clients to discover what feels most supportive and meaningful to them. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and able to explore your experiences in a way that feels right for you.
