Hello. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, currently able to work with individuals residing in Pennsylvania, Delaware Washington, and Hawaii. As a mental health therapist, my focus areas include mood disorders (such as anxiety and depression), life coaching, career advising and women's issues. I worked in education for over 15 years prior to starting in the behavioral health field, and gained an abundance of experience with neurodiversity as it pertains to ADHD and learning differences as well. I'm happy to provide psychoeducation on these and other topics as well.
Welcome to my practice!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and licensed in WA with more than 20 years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, anger issues, and self-harm ideation and behaviors. I want to get to know you and what might be happening with you that you are seeking counseling for. Many times people come to therapy when they are in some type of distress. Sometimes this is conscious and sometimes not. If you are struggling or distressed for some reason or grieving a loss in life, ( or not sure but something has changed) I would like to see how we can work in therapy.
The way we work will depend on the issues you bring to therapy. I have experience with different approaches to therapy including but not limited to HUMANISTIC THERAPY (includes the importance of personal responsibility, and a positive, non-judgmental approach), STRUCTURAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (includes the importance of family structure and healthy boundaries), GOTTMAN (includes helping couples communicate better, resolve conflicts constructively, and create a shared sense of meaning), CBT (generally includes a short-term approach that helps you identify and change negative or unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior to improve your mood and overall well-being).
Please see my calendar with Grow to sign up for an appointment today.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, OCD, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered. My approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Reality Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build practical skills, overcome challenges, and create lasting change.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, which means I have been trained to work with systems. This means that I focus my work on individuals, couples, children, and families. I work to help people learn how to create positive bonds with one another, improve communication, build their self confidence and provide hope of a life filled with happiness, all you have to do is decide to make a choice to call to schedule a session.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience, currently seeing clients in the states of Arizona and Washington. I hold a Master's in Counseling and a Certificate in Domestic Violence Advocacy from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.
I self-identify as neurodivergent (AuDHD) and am a committed BIPOC ally. That means I bring both clinical expertise and real lived experience to the work — I understand from the inside what it means to navigate a world that wasn't built with you in mind.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real-life experience. I specialize in working with adults navigating ADHD, Autism, and the full complexity of being neurodivergent. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and major life transitions. Earlier in my career I worked in severe mental illness, clinical psychiatry, social work with homeless populations, and domestic violence advocacy — giving me a wide and deep foundation to draw from.
I use evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, and ACT, always through a trauma-informed and strength-based lens. I honor the ways that culture, race, and lived experience shape mental health, and I strive to create a space where your identity is respected and your voice is heard.
I am a compassionate and grounded therapist who is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with clarity, purpose, and a greater sense of control. I bring a supportive, collaborative presence to each session, creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences. My work is guided by a strong belief in personal responsibility, resilience, and each individual’s capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful, lasting change over time.
I work especially well with women who are in the “messy middle” of life: between who they have been, what others expect, and what they may want next. Faci
Are you a woman facing big decisions? Navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, career pivots? My background shapes how I approach therapy with clients facing such women's issues, which includes years as a licensed mental health counselor, but also as serving in senior leadership within higher education, supporting clients as a transformational coach, and balancing parenting along the way. This mix (and juggling act) gives me a practical understanding of how emotional wellbeing is often shaped by work, caregiving, relationships, and major life responsibilities.
Many of the woman I work with are thoughtful, capable, and carrying more than others realize. They often appear highly functional on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, depleted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. I help clients slow things down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface, identify what needs attention, and move forward in ways that feel grounded and realistic.
I am licensed in Washington and Rhode Island, am a nationally certified counselor, and hold a doctorate in adult and higher education. While my colleagues may call me Dr. T, in counseling I'm just Melanie. I'm here to support you, help you find clarity and calm, offer guidance, levity, and a safe space for tears, perimenopausal rage, or a well placed curse word. Together, we find solutions to the barriers keeping you from your next chapter.
I help high-functioning adults reconnect with themselves and learn to trust their own judgment again.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They often appear successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be.
You may be recovering from betrayal, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition. Somewhere along the way, you may have begun second-guessing yourself, losing confidence in your instincts, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it looks from the outside.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, reduce shame, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build the confidence to make choices that align with your values instead of fear or self-doubt. Therapy should leave you feeling understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that make everyday life feel lighter.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Educator who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. Much of my work focuses on supporting women, children, adolescents, and families as they work through trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the everyday stresses that can impact emotional well-being.
Outside of my professional work, I am a proud single mama to five children and a grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. My life is full, busy, and deeply grounded in family and community.
I am also an equestrian and love spending time outdoors caring for my animals and gardening. I am currently training several of my animals—including my pig, goat, miniature horse and mule, cat, and dogs—to serve as emotional support animals that I hope to thoughtfully incorporate into therapeutic experiences in the future. I believe that connection with animals and nature can be incredibly healing and can offer unique opportunities for comfort, regulation, and emotional growth.
These personal experiences help shape my approach to therapy. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore their experiences, and work toward meaningful healing and growth.
Hello. I am James Moore and I have 57 years of experience as a clinical psychologist in a variety of settings including institutional, academic and private practice. I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the emotional weight of caregiving, relationships, and work stress. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward — and together we create space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and build tools that actually fit your life.
Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and authentic. I strive to create a space that is nonjudgmental, affirming, and supportive of your unique story
I use play, mindfulness, emotionally-focused, and Attachment and Commitment in my practice. I am a strong believer that one of the only ways to come back from overwhelm is to do nothing, and the best way to do nothing is to play.
I completed my internship in 2020 with the organization Child Abuse Prevention Association providing trauma informed care to adults and children via telehealth. After graduation I was a school based therapist working primarily with elementary children and their families. In that time I developed a specialty with neurodivergence. I have spent the last year working with neurodivergent children, teens, and adults here in Washington.

Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.

Hello! For almost two decades, I have been counseling clients, and I find it a great honor to walk alongside people, partnering with them in the hard. I grew up with a schizophrenic father. I felt intense fear, shame, and loneliness throughout my formative years. I did a phenomenal job at numbing pain and people pleasing, while my pain festered.
Learning how to see and feel my pain has been transformative. I am grateful for the story I have and believe the restored is always better than the original.
Welcome! I’m glad you’re here. I’m a licensed therapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, OCD, and healthcare worker stress/burnout. At this time, due to caseload, I am only accepting new patients who present with one of the aforementioned areas of concerns.
I have extensive experience across many levels of care (from inpatient to residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings) so I’m comfortable supporting patients with different levels of severity and complexity. I’ve also spent years working in utilization management, which means I understand insurance systems well and can help you navigate them as part of treatment.
I hold an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas State University and a B.S. in Economics & Management Science from MIT.
I believe that change happens when people are given the proper guidance and tools needed to pursue their goals while also giving them the autonomy to pull on their own strengths and qualities that will get them to the finish line. I provide clients with a space full of compassion and support to help them overcome obstacles and move forward in life. My therapeutic experience mostly consists of services provided to adult and adolescent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, and stress related issues. I tailor various therapeutic modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing according to the client’s individual needs and wants. I believe that everyone is entitled to pursue and live a fulfilling and happy life. I believe that a large part of wellness is having healthy, meaningful relationships, not just with others, but with ourselves.
I have been practicing for over three years, in addition to two years of practicum experience, and I hold a Master’s in Social Work. I am also nearing completion of my Doctorate in Social Work.
As my ideal client, you are someone who recognizes the challenges you are facing and is motivated to seek support, guidance, and resources to work through them.
