LICSW, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate, I believe that mental health care is essential for creating balance, resilience, and well-being. Reaching out for support can be a difficult first step, and I want to recognize the courage it takes to begin this journey. I have extensive experience working with adults of all backgrounds, supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, homelessness, and substance use.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your history, current challenges, and goals, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify what feels most important to work on and begin creating a plan that fits your needs. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, supported, and comfortable as we start this process.
My approach is grounded in compassion, trauma-informed care, and a belief in meeting clients where they are. I draw from evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, but I adapt each session to fit your unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. What sets my work apart is my experience with complex challenges such as trauma, addiction, homelessness, professional burnout, and life transitions. I have experience in providing clinical care in different settings e.g., inpatient hospital, agency office, in-home services, remote Telehealth, and street clinical outreach (outdoors, encampments ). Clients often tell me they feel truly seen, supported, and empowered to make lasting changes in their lives.
I work best with adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives, even if they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about where to begin. Many of my clients are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, professional burnout, or major life transitions, including homelessness or recovery. I especially welcome veterans, caregivers, and those who feel overlooked or unsupported. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can build on their strengths, explore new coping strategies, and work toward stability, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.
I help clients recognize patterns between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, then develop healthier coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, recovery needs, and achieving meaningful, lasting change.
I partner with clients to identify strengths, build on what is already working, and set clear, achievable goals. This approach is practical and future-focused, empowering clients to move toward meaningful solutions in a short period of time. I work with clients to identify strengths and build practical solutions, focusing on what’s working and the goals they want to achieve.
I guide clients in exploring their values, goals, and ambivalence about change in a supportive, non-judgmental way. This includes exploring client's goals and values, strengthening motivation, and building confidence to make positive changes.
I create a safe and supportive space that recognizes the impact of trauma, empowering clients to heal while building resilience and restoring a sense of control.
I integrate ACT strategies to help clients accept difficult experiences, clarify values, and take steps toward meaningful, lasting change.
