Great to meet you! Self-care is something I wholeheartedly believe in. I hold a master's degree in counseling psychology and have been helping others since 2009. The fundamental aspect of therapy is helping others to overcome life toughest seasons; addressing issues that may become a stumbling block. Life challenges can eventually lead to mental discomfort. Helping others for many years, I apply different treatment modalities that will assist you in reaching your therapy goals.
As your therapist, my primary goal is to meet you where you are at in order for us to achieve your therapy goals. Meeting you where you are at is allowing you to share deep, and painful circumstances that brought you to therapy. In our first meeting, I make it my priority to make you feel at ease as sharing your life story can be very hard most times. The therapeutic relationship is the number one advocate for change!
My theoretical orientation is a client centered approach. Clients are inherently motivated toward achieving positive psychological functioning. I patiently and caringly act as a guide, and source of support to help my clients through difficult and challenging life situations.
15 years of experience in Christian Counseling. In my practice, I serve clients who prefer to have a Faith based approach to therapy. I approach psychology from a Biblical perspective and understanding through the lens of the Bible and God's Word which is useful in all areas of life.
15 years of practice applying CBT approach to therapy. CBT focuses on ways to change unhelpful and/or unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. CBT is helpful with symptoms of anxiety and depression.

15 years of experience helping couples maneuver difficult areas and conflicts in their relationships from poor communication; codependency; trust issues to name a few. I help couples to improve on communication; interactions, problem solving, understanding needs in order to strengthen the relationship.
15 years of experience in CPT. I help clients learn how to evaluate and change certain thought patterns and processes that produce upsetting thoughts and feelings.
