Hi! I'm Sherry. Does life ever seem overwhelming, like you are pulling in a million different directions? Or do you feel stuck, like you are struggling to keep up? Have you forgotten who you are and how to be kind to yourself? Let's work together to create a way for you to find joy and purpose. My goal is to provide an environment where you feel safe to explore and express your thoughts and feelings. Let's create a room for you to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, warmth, and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, supportive, and confidential space. We’ll talk about what has brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, health, and past experiences to better understand you as a whole person. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about therapy, my approach, and what working together might look like. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with—therapy moves at your pace. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify goals and discuss possible next steps, so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and support.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that incorporate a Person-Centered approach. These methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Imaginal Therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is connecting with people who are interested in learning about themselves and growing in meaningful ways. I especially enjoy working with clients navigating trauma, grief, attachment challenges, and mood-related concerns. My approach blends trusted clinical methods with genuine compassion and a lighthearted, human presence, helping create a space that feels safe, supportive, and real.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I tend to work best with clients who are curious about themselves and open to growth, even if they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Many of the people I enjoy working with are navigating trauma, grief, attachment challenges, or mood-related concerns. They’re willing to explore patterns, ask questions, and do meaningful work—while also appreciating a therapist who brings warmth, compassion, and a bit of lightness into the room. If you’re looking for a supportive space that balances depth with a genuine, down-to-earth connection, we may be a good fit.

I felt an immediate connection with Sherry, and comfortable talking with her. She came across as very caring and interested in me. I feel hopeful that our sessions will result in closure to some issues I have been having. She's very easy to talk to and share my feelings. I'm so happy I chose her !!! Looking forward to further sessions :)

Sherry made me feel comfortable from the beginning. She wasn't pushy but also let me know that I would have to deal with even the hard things as well, She was down to earth and was just very comforting to have a conversation with.
