Hello! I’m so glad you took the first step to make meaningful change in your life. I’d love the opportunity to partner with you and learn about your strengths, struggles, and how we move forward together. I believe we all have the answers to the big questions in our lives, but sometimes we get stuck or need a non-judgmental perspective to help us. As someone who grew up in a military family and is now a military spouse, I understand the unique lifestyle and challenges that military spouses face. As someone who has experienced grief and the loss of a loved one to cancer and a baby to miscarriage, I can empathize with loss and the waves of despair that grief can bring. I take an eclectic approach to therapy and aim to meet you wherever you are, drawing on your experiences and providing you with tools to help guide you toward your goals.

Hello, I’m Krystie, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, uncertain in their decision-making, or unfulfilled in their relationships, careers, or personal lives. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of negative thinking, emotional distress, or past experiences that continue to impact their present functioning. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Together, we will explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical, skills-based strategies to help you manage symptoms, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related experiences, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but it is a meaningful step toward growth and healing. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions so you can reengage with life in a way that feels fulfilling and aligned with your values.

Greetings, my name is John Luke. I am a licensed clinical social worker and specialize in helping people to effectively manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns using cognitive behavioral techniques. I have worked with a range of populations, nearly all ages, and also have experience with addiction treatment and life-coaching. I work with people to develop insight into the source of their problems, how their core beliefs about the world might be hindering their progress, and focus on their natural strengths to overcome those barriers with practical skills that generate sustainable change. Some of my other specialties include short-term, solution-focused therapy; cognitive behavioral therapy techniques; psychodynamic approaches; and marital counseling. Some of the problems I am particularly keen on solving with my clients include issues with self-image and confidence; dating and relationships; boundary-setting and assertive communication; as well as general anxiety management; and learning to identify and productively resolve emotional unrest. I am also very experienced in cognitive restructuring, which is just a fancy way of saying helping to change the way a person thinks about the world and their place in it. I also enjoy aiding people in goal setting and identification, meaning-making, and navigating family conflicts. If you feel any of this could be helpful or useful to you, please do not hesitate to reach out! (Note: I do work with couples, but only on a cash-pay basis. Also, I only work with ages 18+)

I am an AK amputee, a person with a disability, a disabled person, a one-legged person, or as medical folks will say a person with a "residual limb" (I have never heard an amputee call their stump a residual limb). If you have been looking for a therapist and you see the photo they choose to put on their page, how many put their disability in their photo? That choice says something. I am also a psychotherapist with 50 years experience of providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and families. My identity shifted 10 years ago when my right leg was amputated above the knee (AK). The identity as a disabled person is not a sought after identity. In many ways being disabled sucks big time. Providing telehealth services would be one way for me to "hide" my disability. Just never point the camera toward my leg. I don't like my experience of me just walking into a room and my leg has already introduced me long before I say my name. I am looking for clients that are disabled in some way and want to work on not letting that "disability label " suck your lifeblood away.

Hi, my name is Stephen As a Christian do you ever feel like you are letting God down, or like you are not being faithful enough because you have real-life problems? Problems In your relationship, emotionally, behaviorally, or even with substance abuse. Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage their anxiety, depression, or burnout by addressing the needs of your body, mind, and spirit using the bible. I integrate current counseling theories with sound biblical principles to help develop a stronger relationship with God, and a stronger you. Whether you are dealing with being overwhelmed, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I am here to help. Seeking therapy can seem scary and maybe even against some of the teachings you've learned in church, but you are making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together I will meet with you, and your spouse if you want, with compassion and evidence-based techniques while using biblical principles so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. The research says that 1 in 4 people in the United States, at any given time, have mental health issues. This does not exclude the church. The average church in Virginia has 250 members attending on any given Sunday. That means that at least fifty people in your church service last Sunday are struggling with some type of mental illness or emotional problem. I work with churches to help them with ministering to the hurting, please let me help you.

I am a marriage and family therapist and I help people overcome childhood trauma. I have worked with several clients who have experienced relationship, work related and family issues. The way I help them is by (1) Going to the root cause of the issue, (2) Giving them the tools so they don't repeat it and (3) Teach them how to be courageous enough to choose themselves. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when they are met with compassion, respect, and genuine understanding. My approach to therapy is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore life's challenges at their own pace. I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, addiction, and suicidal ideation, providing compassionate, evidence-based care during some of life's most difficult moments. I also have experience supporting military members, veterans, first responders, and couples, recognizing the unique stressors and relationship dynamics these populations often experience. Clients often describe me as inquisitive, personable, and easy to talk to. I believe that curiosity, authentic connection, and thoughtful listening are essential to understanding each person's unique story, Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I collaborate with clients to identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and develop practical strategies that foster resilience, healing, and lasting change. Whether you are navigating a life transition, working through emotional pain, strengthening your relationships, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and encouragement as you move toward the life you want to create.
