I’m a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping women navigate life’s challenges, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover their authentic voice. I specialize in working with high-functioning women who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in survival mode, even if they appear to have everything together on the outside.
My clients are often used to being the strong one, the responsible one, or the one others rely on, but internally they may feel anxious, restless, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of who they are becoming. Therapy with me offers a space to slow down, make sense of what’s been happening beneath the surface, and begin reconnecting with yourself in a more grounded and compassionate way.
I also support men navigating anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges. Through my work with women, I’ve developed a deep understanding of relational dynamics and emotional patterns that impact partnerships. I work best with men who are open to reflection, willing to explore their patterns, and motivated to improve how they show up in their relationships.
Therapy was never my goal. Over the years I learned that I love helping people and have experienced a lot of challenges, losses, job changes, etc. I have a lot of experience overcoming and moving forward. If you are ready to make changes and reach your full potential, I would love to help you do that. Let's get started on your new path to health and wellbeing.

Additionally, I specialize in helping individuals struggling with family conflicts, providing a safe, supportive environment to explore and address their concerns. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas with a Master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and over five years of dedicated experience. I specialize in helping individuals move through stress, trauma, and women’s health concerns with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based support. My work is especially aligned with clients navigating autoimmune disorders, cancer, and chronic health conditions who want to live with less anxiety, less overwhelm, and more steadiness in their daily lives.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic—I don’t just treat symptoms; I help you understand the patterns beneath them. Together, we create a safe, empowering space where you can process what you’ve carried, reconnect to your body and intuition, and build a life that feels calmer, clearer, and genuinely aligned with who you want to be.

Meeting someone new maybe anxiety provoking, but starting therapy? That is truly a daunting task! You’ve made the first step by recognizing that maybe you should talk to someone. Now, all of these bios sound about the same. Which one to pick? How do you know which one will help you the most? You may be thinking, “oh, forget it, I just can’t make that decision right now.” Or, “I don’t want to sit for an hour and cry while I tell a total stranger my life’s story.” Or, “what if someone finds out that I’m not perfect. What if this person thinks I’m crazy and wants to lock me away forever?“ Or, “no one should have to live like I am right now! I’ve got to have some help. I want someone that has a lot of experience, someone that will relate to me, understand me, NOT judge me or my circumstances, and help me figure out this situation!“
And the answer to all those questions is me! I am here for you. I understand how you feel and I will not judge you. I will not shame you or make you feel guilty. It is my job to help you feel comfortable and at ease. It is my job to get you living and laughing again. I do laughter therapy! I promise to inspire you, empower you, to free you to live your best and happiest life. Life is too short to live depressed or anxious. Set up an appointment with me today and let’s get started. Oh, and by the way, I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I might know a thing or two! 😉

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Texas in the United States of America. I have training and experience in counseling for over 10 years. I only accept clients who I believe have the capacity to resolve their own problems with assistance. I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves, they are able to heal and grow. Self-awareness and self-acceptance are goals that take time to achieve though. Sometimes this may require more time than you want. If counseling is successful, you should feel that you are able to face life’s challenges without my support or intervention. However, please be aware that neither I nor any counselor can guarantee that counseling will be successful. Your greatest asset in counseling is you; the open, honest... real you. I am here to help you get the life that you.
If you have any questions or concerns at any point about this process, talk to me. If I do not know the answer, we will work to find it together. Again, authentic communication is welcomed and desired here. Are you ready to get the life you want?

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. During my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to study abroad in Accra, Ghana. After my ungraduate studies, I stayed in Austin for a while to continue working overnight at a shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence for women, children, and transgendered women while answering a 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
I went on to attain my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston. I spent two additional years in clinical supervision working in hospitals, crisis mobile mental health, and facilitating groups to attain my independent clinical license. Thereafter, I spent time in clinical practice to build expertise to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor providing individual, family, and group therapy. Most recently I have broadened my scope of practice to include my Chemical Dependency Counseling license and Certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In my free time, I enjoy singing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, film, and television.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about counseling and helping people find ways of navigating life’s ups and downs. Welcome. I’m a combat veteran and retired Army officer, a devout Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and experienced clinical psychologist. I want to get into the root causes of your struggles or battle and find ways to overcome, change, forgive, accept, and move upward toward the light. It may not seem like it, but the darkness will eventually lift, and the light will surely shine again.
Life is a battle in the heart, and I humbly accept that I will be in my own battle or someone else’s battle for the rest of my life. Like the weather, our emotions are powerful. Many days the sun shines, but the rains do come and sometimes a destructive storm hits hard (divorce, the loss of a loved one, cancer, suicidal thoughts, et cetera). It's a battlefield. When it comes to the challenge of relationships, so often, it is ego (wounded pride), self-esteem, and powerful emotions at the root of our conflicts. To understand these forces is the key to peace. Let's work through it!
I have been honored to be in the field of psychology for 22 years since 2004. Through the years, more than half of my time was in the Army where I primarily worked with soldiers enduring anxiety, depression, trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, and all the other usual suspects of psychological distress. It was a time well for the analysis of guilt, fear, worry, shame, pain, heartbreak, addiction, identity conflicts, and sorrow. I’ve also worked in the prisons for many years with some extreme situations (i.e., murder, severe mental illness, rape, child molestation, drug kingpins, gang leaders). So, no matter what your circumstances are, never quit and never give up! Survival is a noble plight!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas, bringing over five years of professional experience to my practice. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Lutheran University in 2010, followed by a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in Dallas, Texas, completed in May 2021.
Dedicated to supporting individuals and families, I am committed to fostering meaningful connections and promoting emotional well-being. Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending quality time with my family and our three dogs, Dottie, Minnie, and Annie. My personal interests include enjoying films with my husband—particularly Star Wars and Lord of the Rings—reading, singing and dancing in the car with my son, and telling corny joke.

Hi there, I'm Parag.
You were not put here on this earth to suffer. You deserve to live your life with happiness and peace of mind. Mental illness and addiction can rob anyone of these precious gifts. When you turn to family and friends for support, often they don't know what to say or how to help. You can end up feeling very alone in the world.
No one wants to develop mental illness or addictions. You didn't do anything wrong. Feeling emotionally numb, mentally overwhelmed, or having thoughts like "I just don't want to be on this earth anymore" are not things that people willingly choose for themselves. They are illnesses. We often get sick through no fault of our own. Just like some people get diabetes or heart disease, some people get mental illness.
Working over five years in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, I have helped patients overcome symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, phobias, relationship problems, and self-esteem issues. My approach is to get to know you as a person and work on addressing what is really going on with your mind and your life right now.
I know getting therapy can be scary, but I will do everything I can to help you feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. Give yourself a chance to have peace of mind again.

Let ME help YOU unpack... your emotional baggage and lighten your load. As Erykah Badu sings in her powerful song, "Bag Lady," it's time to let go of all those heavy bags you've been carrying and start fresh. I am a licensed professional counselor who supports women, mothers, and teens navigating stress, identity shifts, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not about fixing what is broken but reconnecting with who you are beneath survival mode. I bring together clinical skill, cultural awareness, and real life understanding to help clients feel seen, steady, and empowered.

I try to meet clients where they are in their process, explore their concerns, and provide a safe and therapeutic space for them to talk about their experiences. I use a variety of approaches specific to their needs, which may include Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy.
For over seven years, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I have provided direct clinical services to adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of issues, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, low self-esteem, phase of life issues, and grief. I also work with couples who are experiencing conflicts in their relationships. It is not always easy to reach out and ask for help with areas of our lives we feel we need support with. I appreciate you trusting me to be a part of your journey and together we can develop the skills needed to manage the issues and challenges you may be facing.

I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.

Hi! I’m Damitra Smith, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor based in Katy, Texas, and working with clients statewide through telehealth. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, codependency, and substance use. My approach is warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel less like a clinical appointment and more like a safe, supportive space where you can show up as your whole self. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance Therapy, and other approaches, while also honoring cultural identity, lived experience, and even spiritual practices if that’s meaningful to you.
