My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy can be used to treat a wide range of issues. CBT is useful to address emotional challenges, manage symptoms of mental illness and help prevent a relapse of mental illness symptoms.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a modified type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The main goal of DBT is to teach people how to be present in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a counseling method that I find to be beneficial with encouraging client’s to become an active participant in the change process by evoking their intrinsic motivations for change and helping client’s resolve ambivalent feelings about the change process.
