Join me in a safe space where we can address your concerns and work together on feeling, healing, and making plans for your growth. Welcome to your new chapter. I am so glad you are here.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Air Force veteran who works with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping clients better understand what’s keeping them stuck while building realistic coping strategies they can apply in everyday life.
I work well with clients who are used to handling things on their own but have reached a point where they want support, better balance, healthier relationships, or improved emotional well-being. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and making meaningful progress without feeling judged or talked down to.
I would describe myself as warm, compassionate, genuine, and a little goofy. I believe therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy or clinical, and I’m not afraid to laugh with my clients when the moment calls for it. I want you to feel like you can show up as your authentic self in our sessions.
My approach is person-centered, which means I meet you where you are and believe you are the expert on your own life. I’m not here to tell you who you should be or what you should do. Instead, I’m here to listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and support you in finding what works best for you.
I bring curiosity, empathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude into the therapy room. I also believe that meaningful therapy can include both honest conversations and moments of humor. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while having someone genuinely in your corner as you work toward the changes you want to make.

Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working as a therapist for over 15 years in different settings. My experience includes working with children, traumatic brain injury patients, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings in the community, including a variety of diagnoses. My therapeutic style is centered on respect and compassion. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.

In our sessions together, you will feel heard, understood and supported.
I will provide you with compassion and guidance utilizing evidence-based treatment. I've worked with people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, loss, addictions, parenting challenges, co-parenting transitions, trauma, relationship challenges, bipolar disorder and the list goes on.
Every situation is unique, and I am here to understand and help. I appreciate the opportunity to work with you. I am available nights and weekends; hope to meet with you soon.

Hi! I’m Rosie Ponce-Ash, LCSW, a Texas-licensed clinical social worker and founder of Anchor & Light Behavioral Health. My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.
I am Sunny Alexander, and I’ve been in practice for over ten years treating clients working in various job placements. I am trauma informed and treat people in therapy with a holistic approach. I instructed Intro to Psychology at a community college and I’ve been in private practice for over ten years. My unique counseling services create safe space for healing and self-optimization for individuals striving to find purpose and evolution of the self. Through healing and and self growth, my clients are able to let go of a ‘ceiling-paradigm’ to live more meaningful and enriched lifestyles. I help clients learn to cope in healthy ways with the symptoms that they experience and we work together to explore how to thrive versus survive.
Hi, I'm Shelly — a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping people find their footing when life feels overwhelming. My journey in mental health began decades ago in music therapy, working in psychiatric settings where I first witnessed the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right support and a safe space. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — with attunement, creativity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal.
I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery, using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build real, lasting skills rather than just temporary relief. I have a particular heart for neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and autism — who may have spent years feeling misunderstood. You do fit — sometimes it just takes the right space to discover that.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Good therapy isn't just about insight — it's about leaving each session with something you can actually use. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right, and work hard to make sure our time together is meaningful.
For clients who desire it, I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into our work. I believe healing touches the whole person — mind, heart, and spirit — and that for many people, faith isn't separate from their healing but central to it. I hold that with care and without pressure.
Whether you're navigating a specific struggle or carrying a weight you've held for too long, you don't have to do it alone. Reaching out is the hardest step — and I'm really glad you're here.
I'd love the opportunity to connect.
Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I help people heal from trauma, move through anxiety, and reconnect with a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in their lives.
I believe that therapy is about more than just coping, it’s about growth, empowerment, and learning to face life’s challenges with strength and clarity. I work best with people who are ready to dig in, do the work, and take real steps toward change.
I’m known for being direct, focused, and encouraging. My goal isn’t just to help you feel better, it’s to help you build the insight, tools, and confidence to live better.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor with more than 25 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. My professional background includes private practice, school-based mental health services, residential treatment, chemical dependency counseling, hospice, and home health. These experiences have strengthened my ability to help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, family stress, major life transitions, and other complex challenges.
For the past six years, I have worked in public school settings, primarily supporting students receiving special education services. In this role, I helped children, families, and school teams better understand the “why” behind behavior, develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create practical supports that can be used at school, at home, and in the community.
I have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, OCD, selective mutism, trauma-related concerns, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-harm behaviors, and behavioral challenges. I also understand the stress that parents and caregivers may experience while trying to support a child with emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. I work to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we identify patterns, build useful coping and communication skills, and develop realistic strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (LCPC) (LPC) (LMHC) licensed in various states. I received my Masters from Avila University in Kansas City and have been practicing for over a decade. I have helped women struggling with life problems and aid them in regaining control over worry, panic, fear, or dread in order to become the best version of themselves.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and find a greater sense of balance and fulfillment. My career has taken me through many roles—serving on community mental health boards, directing psychiatric residential programs, and leading clinical teams—all with one goal: to support people in living fuller, healthier, and more connected lives.
Since stepping back from full-time leadership roles, I’ve shifted my focus to what I value most—working directly with clients through my online therapy practice. I specialize in supporting young and middle-aged adults, couples, and parents who are facing life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, addictive habits, or a sense of feeling stuck.
My approach combines the practical tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a deeper exploration of the emotional and mental blocks that may be holding you back. I believe healing and growth happen when we align mind, body, and spirit—restoring a sense of inner harmony that allows you to live with more clarity, purpose, and peace.
Therapy is a journey, and you don’t have to take it alone. If you’re ready to begin creating positive changes in your life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Feel free to explore my website and see how we might work together.
