I work with couples and individuals who are ready to feel more connected, steady, and confident in their relationships and lives. Whether you're navigating relationship strain, anxiety, depression, or a major life transition, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain clarity, and create meaningful change. My approach is warm, grounded, and practical. I aim to help you feel more secure in yourself, more connected in your relationships, and more aligned with the life you want to live.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will start out me explaining the therapy process and giving you an idea of what to expect for our time together. From there, we move onto exploring all about what is bringing you into therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very laid back yet straight forward therapist who loves to incorporate some laughter in session. I aim to provide a very safe unjudgmental and comfortable space for individuals to show up as they are.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are men and women who are thoughtful, motivated, and ready to better understand themselves and their relationships. I work especially well with men who feel pressure to “hold it all together” while quietly struggling with anxiety, stress, or depression. I support individuals facing life transitions — career changes, parenthood, relationship shifts, loss, or identity changes — who want steadiness and clarity during uncertain seasons. I also work with couples who care deeply about one another but feel stuck in painful patterns, miscommunication, or emotional distance. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, personal growth, or a major life shift, you’re someone who wants more than just coping — you want deeper connection, resilience, and lasting change.

My treatment methods

Gottman method

Using Gottman Method, we build practical tools for healthier communication, manage conflict more effectively, and reduce patterns like criticism, defensiveness, or emotional withdrawal. I often incorporate structured exercises that help couples slow conversations down, increase appreciation, and rebuild trust in tangible ways.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we gently explore the deeper emotions and attachment needs underneath recurring arguments. Together, we identify negative cycles that leave both partners feeling stuck and help create new moments of vulnerability, responsiveness, and emotional safety.

Attachment-based

Drawing from attachment theory, I help partners understand how early relational experiences shape present dynamics, allowing them to respond to each other with greater empathy and security.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients build practical tools to manage intense emotions, reduce reactivity, and respond to stress in healthier ways. We focus on skills like emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindful awareness so you can stay grounded and steady — even in challenging moments.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Through Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore the different “parts” of you — the driven part, the critical part, the shut-down part, the anxious part — with curiosity instead of judgment. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult emotions, we work to understand them. This often creates space for greater self-leadership, confidence, and inner calm.
