I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have currently been practicing for 4 years. I’m also a certified yoga teacher and trained at the Shri Kali ashram in India. The types of yoga I teach focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system to release the whole self from the ever vigilant fight or flight mode a lot of us find ourselves in on a constant basis to survive in this modern culture. In the therapy session, my main intent is to be fully present with you, free of judgment; to Become a spacious environment in which you can explore your own truth and start to shed the layers that no longer serve.

As a perinatal psychotherapist, Mrs. Whiteside works with mothers and/or families who are struggling with perinatal mental illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
