Overthinking Your Way to Underliving? Let’s Fix That.
When you look at your life, it seems great on paper. But lately you’ve been stuck — unable to decide whether to take the job, end the relationship, or even pick a restaurant for dinner. You’re waking up tired no matter how much you sleep, and there’s a worry running in the background that hasn’t let up in a while, and even the small decisions have started to feel exhausting.
This is what happens when anxiety and depression show up together, which they often do — especially in people used to solving problems by thinking harder. The anxious part of you keeps spinning, weighing every option. The depressed part of you is running low, flat, hard to motivate. Both at once means you’re keyed up and worn out in the same breath.
My job is to help you untangle that: give the overthinking somewhere to land, and the exhaustion somewhere to actually rest.
Together, we’ll work on:
• Separating perfectionism from your actual values
• Making peace with “good enough”
• Building tolerance for uncertainty
• Treating the anxiety and low mood together, since treating one without the other rarely sticks
This isn’t about pushing through on your own. Therapy gives you a place to slow the overthinking, address the anxiety and low mood together, and build coping skills that hold up under pressure.

I believe that each person should have an opportunity to express themselves in a safe, nurturing, judgement free zone. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling at Wayland Baptist University. Currently, I am working with a consultant to become an EMDR therapist. I believe that this therapy is beneficial to individuals with trauma-related experiences. I specialize in helping individuals with anxiety, ptsd, anger issues, mood disorders, behavioral issues, self-esteem issues, schizophrenia, and depression.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I help individuals, families, and couples identify goals as well as possible solutions to issues that hinder their growth. I believe that my passion for counseling stemmed from my desire to help people at an early age. I have experience working within the community, inpatient treatment centers, and outpatient treatment centers. I have experience working with children and adolescents with autism as well as other disabilities for over seven years. I enjoy giving back to the community as well as helping others live a successful and rewarding life.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech, followed by a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I have close to 10 years of experience working as a therapist in both community based environments as well as through outpatient and telehealth settings. I have worked with a variety of clients that range in ages from adolescence through older adulthood. I work with my clients to help them overcome whatever issues they may be facing. I believe it is important to meet them where they are at and provide a safe, nurturing, and non judgmental space where we can work through issues and stressors together and develop ways for you to effectively cope with them. You never know what life is going to throw you, especially in today's world. I want to help you overcome your fears and stressors and become the best version of your self you can be! I integrate evidence-based treatments to meet your needs, with a focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma.
