I specialize in heavy life transitions or "tough times". Did you know your insurance will cover therapy sessions for life transitions or adjustments even if you don't have a textbook diagnosis of anxiety or depression? I bring 28 years of experience working in mental health, so you can feel confident you are in capable hands. I want to help you crawl out of the hole you've been in, whether you created it or someone/something else did. I made the switch to a virtual practice in 2015 and never looked back. Therapy should be accessible and affordable for all. Here's what my average client comes to me for...break ups, contemplating divorcing, post partum adjustment, grief due to a death of a loved one, trauma history, work burn-out, can't sleep, can't relax, can't stay organized, can't get along with their family, caregiver fatigue etc. And for clarity here's who I don't work with...anyone less than 18 years-old, couples (although I very occasionally invite a spouse/partner to a session to work on a specific issue) , untreated (as in meds) Bipolar disorder, or heavy drug or alcohol abuse. Thank you for checking out my page and I hope to see you soon! ( instagram is @cypresstxtherapist )
It is always a privilege to partner with clients on their journey to improved mental health. I work with clients to discover their value and process through past hurts and traumas. I provide a safe place to process current and past issues and also provide psychoeducation so clients can learn new, healthy coping skills. I refer to myself as a tour guide on the road to healing.

Thank you for taking the first step of courage and making yourself a priority today. Opening yourself up and being vulnerable can be a tremendous step to your healing process. Although the first steps can be overwhelming, I can walk with you and help guide you on the journey of healing and peace. I will always provide a safe space of acceptance and non-judgement for you to share your emotional pain, grow to love and be kind to yourself, and find the peace you deserve to heal. Remember that you are worthy and deserving of being free of the emotional pain you are experiencing. Be kind to yourself.

Hi, I’m Rachel Humphries, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, safe, and supported without judgment. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and down-to-earth, blending practical coping strategies with deeper emotional processing and self-understanding. I enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals, first responders, helping professionals, and clients navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, chronic stress, identity exploration, and major life transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate the lasting effects of childhood wounds, anxiety, and life's most challenging transitions. My work is rooted in the belief that true healing begins when people feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe enough to be vulnerable.
I bring a warm, direct, and collaborative presence to the therapeutic relationship. My approach blends evidence-based practices — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and self-compassion frameworks — with a deep respect for each client's cultural background, lived experience, and unique story. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I meet clients where they are and tailor my approach to what they actually need.
Much of my work centers on helping clients understand how early experiences — such as emotional neglect, conditional love, abandonment, and shame — continue to shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships in adulthood. I also have a dedicated focus on men's mental health, providing a space where men can move beyond cultural expectations of silence and strength to reconnect with their emotional lives in meaningful ways.
My background includes working with individuals recovering from addiction and those rebuilding their lives after significant hardship. These experiences have deepened my belief in human resilience and the capacity for growth at any stage of life. In our work together, I aim to help you build self-awareness, develop practical emotional regulation skills, and cultivate a healthier relationship with yourself and others. My goal is not just symptom relief — it is lasting, meaningful change that reflects who you truly are and who you are becoming.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide a judgement free, person-centered, solution focused approach. I'm Kemi, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes real change starts with feeling truly heard. Since middle school, I've been the person others turn to for encouragement, so becoming a therapist felt less like a career change and more like coming home to it. I bring warmth, honesty, and a steady presence into every session, paired with clinical training in CBT, Internal Family Systems, and culturally responsive care. My goal isn't to hand you a script — it's to help you see your own strength clearly enough to use it.

I hold a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and maintain specialized licenses in trauma, addiction, and vocational counseling. Hello! I bring 17 years of mental health experience along for your sessions. I have been in private practice since January of 2023. I consider myself a generalist and I'm happy to help you with any need or concern that you might have. I have also worked in behavioral health clinics and have experience working with clients that have been legally referred to therapy. Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I received my master's degree from Dallas Baptist University in Counseling Psychology. I have been in the mental health field for over twenty years where I started out in psychiatric hospitals as a mental health technician, and I ended my hospital career as a Hospital Administrator. I have been a part of building some amazing clinical programs, so I know the struggles and frustrations that we all experience at some point in our life. I have been doing private practice primarily for the past 3 years and loving every moment. I really enjoy helping people through struggles at different stages of their life.
I am a dedicated therapist committed to helping clients navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. Through evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies for overcoming obstacles and reaching their goals. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients can explore their strengths, enhance their well-being, and cultivate positive change in their lives
I am a licensed mental health counselor that believes in a holistic and blended approach with respect for the mind-body-spirit connection. Mental health is a pivotal component of all wellness.
I believe in collaborating with clients throughout the process. Clients feel supported and also challenged to take responsibility for their own success.
Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have a PhD in Psychology, a Master of Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been practicing since 2011. I have experience in working with adults and children with a history of inpatient mental health treatment, substance abuse, and crisis management. I have also worked alongside families and children in the juvenile justice system.
I’m Janet Worley, LMFT and founder of Worley Wellness Counseling. I work with couples and individuals navigating relationship stress, communication struggles, emotional disconnection, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with care deeply about their relationships but feel stuck in painful patterns that leave them feeling hurt, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to create meaningful change. Rather than offering judgment or one-size-fits-all advice, I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and challenged toward growth.
A large part of my work focuses on helping people understand the deeper patterns underneath conflict and distress. Whether you find yourself caught in recurring arguments, struggling to communicate, feeling emotionally disconnected, or carrying wounds that continue to impact your relationships, therapy can help bring clarity and create new ways of relating.
I use an integrative approach that blends attachment-focused work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method interventions, DBT-informed skills, and practical problem-solving strategies. This allows us to explore not only what is happening, but why it is happening and how to begin changing it.
My goal is to help couples and individuals move beyond conflict, disconnection, and unhealthy patterns toward greater understanding, emotional safety, stronger communication, and more fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves. I believe healing and change are possible, and you do not have to figure it all out alone.

Hi, I'm Esther.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Daring Way Trained Facilitator. I've been providing counseling to individuals for almost 6 years. Prior to that, I worked in the education sector for almost 10 years, which deeply sparked my interest in pursuing mental health work.
To me, counseling sessions are like writing a story. It is a process that involves brainstorming, creating drafts, and making revisions until your story feels whole and complete. Imagine you are the writer. You have all the pieces of your story within you already. Think of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as those pieces. Sometimes, they don’t make any sense, it’s overwhelming, and you don’t know where to begin. I view my role as someone who is with you to guide you through the process and help organize those very thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with you. During our time together, it is my hope that you develop the skills to ultimately write your story on your own.
Your story may include experiencing cycles of depression, anxiety, grief, past trauma, struggles of worthiness and belonging, the complexities of being a part of an immigrant family, generational trauma, a combination of these things, or perhaps something entirely different. Everyone's mental health journey is different. I’m here to meet you where you are.
I also want to acknowledge how scary it can be when taking a leap of faith into a new therapeutic journey. It takes a lot of courage. More than anything, it’s important to me that you feel safe and the stories you share are handled with utmost care.

Hi there, I'm Farah Ali.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and dedicated advocate for my clients. My educational foundation is based in psychology and social justice, having earned my master's degree in social work with a dual concentration in community practice and clinical mental health. Driven by a strong commitment to human rights and social justice, I am dedicated to advocating for every individual I work with and the communities I am part of.
My Core Principles as a Therapist:
Focusing on Strengths & Empowerment: Central to our work is helping you to more deeply connect to—and really use—your inherent strengths. This means looking for growth opportunities where some might find roadblocks and accessing both internal and external resources to help you make the changes you want to see in your life.
Working for Comprehensive Wellness: Therapy is a place where we can work toward mental and emotional wellness, learn how to foster positive relationships, and discover a greater sense of balance and ease in your day-to-day life.
Promoting Connection & Authenticity: The relationship we have is vital, which is why I work hard to make sure our relationship is a nurturing space for meaningful growth.
Creating Safety in Being Seen: I strive to make our sessions a place where every emotion is valued, encouraged, and supported—yes, even the “bad” or “undesirable” emotions. This is the space we cultivate together in our work, and space that is here to help you more deeply see yourself, and be seen in your authenticity.

My main professional interest and passion is insight-based psychology and existential psychodynamic therapy. I studied and practiced clinical psychology in Belgrade, Serbia for 15 years where I also received intensive training in psychodynamic therapy and worked with individuals, families, and groups. Since moving to Houston 12 years ago, I completed my graduate degree at the University of Houston, where I practiced therapy mostly with people suffering from trauma, anxiety, and grief. I taught courses to graduate students at the University of Houston on Spirituality and Aging, Group therapy, Grief/Bereavement therapy and Research Methodology.
My deep dedication to the understanding and acceptance of the most diverse human existential experiences and challenges has led me to explore a wide array of aspects and sources of knowledge both scientific (evidence-based), but also those stemming from the creative processes of making music, literature, film, and art. My basic belief is that ultimate healing and balance comes from the inward, often unpleasant, but deeply rewarding journey into ourselves that incorporates our habits and thoughts, but also our physical existence, emotional dynamic and spiritual needs and values. My goal as a therapist is to be a reliable, trusted companion in this journey of self-exploration and self-acceptance.

✨ Let’s begin your path to healing—one step at a time.
Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in Texas. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I have over 9 years of experience in working with mental health and substance use concerns. I have worked with individuals ages four to adult with a variety of mental health/behavioral presenting issues such as: addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, phase-of-life problems, relationship and family issues, career challenges, and many more. I have also worked with many clients who have experienced physical trauma, psychological or emotional abuse.
My experience is varied and across a wide array of settings, as I have provided individual and group therapy in community mental health agencies, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health hospitals, transitional living programs, and schools. I have provided crisis intervention services in the community setting as part of a crisis intervention response team. Prior to my work as a therapist, I was a teacher and coach.
Mental health is a journey, and while you may feel lost now, that is not an indication of how your life will continue. It takes courage to identify that there may be steps to take in order to strive for a more fulfilling and happier life, and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and encourage you. Wherever you're at on your journey, I am willing to meet you there and support you in reaching your desired destination.
I look forward to working with you!
